HEATHMILL QUARTZ (3) has missed the frame at his last couple of starts but just a few runs back broke the clock when winning over 275m at Perry Barr, taking a D3 in an enormous 16.35. Should be in this for a long way. AMYS STAR (5) was strongly fancied last time but finished second (16.28), beaten 3 lengths. Likely to be in the finish again. TOMMYS DANCER (4) tends to drift back and work into the race, charging home into the minors two back before winding up late into second (16.37) in a D3 at this track last time. Has a strong winning record here at this journey. Although beaten ran one of the quickest times on the card last start. Must be included in calculations. JIMMYS GADGETS (6) has top-three aspirations after placing in good time last time.
