CUTACROSS SHORTY (3) is a capable type and proved too classy last time to win by 1.5 lengths at this track in a handy 16.81 beating Barnfield Mojo. Boasts a strong record from this draw with 11 wins and nine minor placings from 24 starts. Looks to have an edge on most of these. BECKLEY JOJO (1) broke from the inside draw and filled a minor placing last start, beaten only a nose (16.77) behind Vicious Amanda at this track. Ran one of the fastest times on the program last start despite finishing in the minors. Nicely placed to grab a well-deserved win. ROBINSONS CLAN (2) has missed the frame at her last couple but wasn't beaten far three back when second (16.60) at this track in a D1. Expected to do much better this time. DROMBEG JACOB (5) hit the frame with a third two runs back then claimed a D2 by 1.3 lengths at this track over 277m (16.60) last time. Faces stiffer opposition but hard to leave out.
