Ten horses have won multiple Might And Power Stakes. The most recent was the great Lonhro, who won in 2002 and 2003, while Winfreux, Lord and Eurythmic each won three times.
The fastest Might And Power Stakes was run by Shaftesbury Avenue, who covered the 2000m in 1.59.3 minutes in 1991.
The most recent three-year-old to win the Might And Power Stakes was Mighty Kingdom in 1979 for legendary trainer Tommy Smith, but no three-year-old filly has ever won the race.
Playboy was first past the post in 1950, only to lose the race on protest to Comic Court; more recently, Redding was awarded the race on protest over Paris Lane in 1994.
