Sportsbet will run Wimbledon markets across the fortnight, from outright winners through to daily match betting.
Wimbledon 2026 Schedule
Both men's and women's draws kick off on day one. First-round singles fills the opening Monday and Tuesday, second-round play runs Wednesday and Thursday, and third-round matches close the first week.
After that, week two builds the same way it always does: Round-of-16 matches occupy the middle weekend (Sunday 5 and Monday 6 July), quarterfinals run Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 July, and the semifinals land on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 July.
The closing weekend belongs to the finals:
- Ladies' Singles Final: Saturday 11 July 2026
- Gentlemen's Singles Final: Sunday 12 July 2026
- Mixed Doubles Final: Thursday 9 July 2026
- Gentlemen's Doubles Final: Saturday 11 July 2026
- Ladies' Doubles Final: Sunday 12 July 2026
The 2026 Wimbledon Main-draw doubles starts Wednesday 1 July, mixed doubles begins Friday 3 July, and the junior championships (under 18s) get going on Saturday 4 July.
Qualifying Week
The Wimbledon Qualifying Competition runs Monday 22 to Thursday 25 June at the Community Sport Centre Roehampton, which is still in the Greater London area - only a few kilometres from the main grounds.
Players ranked roughly 100 to 250 in the world fight through three rounds to claim the last spots in the singles draws.
It's a sneaky-good watch if you can find a stream, since it puts together plenty of seasoned veterans on the slide and plenty of hungry young hitters trying to break through. The main draw gets released shortly after, usually Friday 26 June.
In case you don't know, top players skip qualifying entirely. Names like Jannik Sinner, Iga Świątek and the rest of the seeded crew go straight in based on ATP and WTA ranking cutoffs and do not need to show up in Roehampton - unless they want to see what their next opponents look like.
How to Watch Wimbledon 2026 in Australia
Nine holds the exclusive Australian rights and recently extended the deal through 2029. Coverage spans free-to-air, free streaming, and subscription:
- Channel 9: Free-to-air, key matches and finals
- 9Now: Free streaming and catch-up
- Stan Sport: Subscription, every match live, 4K UHD on selected fixtures
Stan Sport carries the most comprehensive offering, including outer-court matches you won't get on free-to-air. Channel 9 typically picks up the marquee Centre Court fixtures across the fortnight, plus both finals.
Wimbledon falls in the middle of Australian winter, so AEST applies throughout.
London sits nine hours behind Sydney for the whole tournament. Day sessions start around 8pm AEST and run into the early morning.
The finals weekend lands at a friendlier slot, with the women's final from roughly 11pm AEST Saturday and the men's final from 11pm AEST Sunday.
What to Expect at Wimbledon 2026
Jannik Sinner walks back in as defending men's champion. The Italian beat Carlos Alcaraz in four sets in last year's final to claim his maiden Wimbledon and become the first Italian Open Era champion at the All England Club.
Alcaraz had won the previous two Wimbledons before Sinner derailed him, and the Spaniard was desperate to reclaim the trophy - until an injury forced him to miss the competition entirely.
The Sinner vs Alcaraz rivalry has effectively locked out the men's majors for two seasons and so, with the Spaniard out of the picture, it’s all about finding a third name - and identifying someone able to compete with Sinner, who will surely be seeking revenge after a disappointing French Open.
Iga Świątek is the defending women's champion after demolishing Amanda Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 in the 2025 final.
That double bagel was the first in a women's Grand Slam final since Steffi Graf at the 1988 French Open. Świątek made grass the last surface to fall, and she arrives in 2026 with a complete-set Slam pedigree.
Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff and Anisimova loom as the chief challengers, and the women's draw looks deeper than the men's heading into the new season.
Sportsbet will have a range of Wimbledon markets running across the fortnight, with daily options firming up once the main draw drops on 26 June.
