The 2025 WTA Finals is the season-ending championship of the WTA Tour, and is arguably the fifth-biggest competition of the year, with the four Grand Slams only bigger.

Indeed, the world’s top eight players, ranked by points, are invited to this special tournament, where they will have the chance to compete for a share of the $15,500,000 (AUD$23,471,107) prize pot. In addition to singles, the best women’s doubles teams are also invited to play.

Matches are played in a round-robin format between two groups of four, with the top two players or teams from each group moving on to the knockout stage. WTA Finals Riyadh is contested on indoor hard courts at the King Saud University Indoor Arena.

This year’s tournament is scheduled to begin on Sunday, November 2, with the first match taking place at 01:00 AEST.

Women’s 2025 WTA Finals Riyadh Betting Preview

The following women have been invited to play at the 2025 WTA Finals Riyadh in the singles competition:

Aryna Sabalenka (9,870 ranking points)

Iga Swiatek (8,195)

Coco Gauff (6,563)

Amanda Anisimova (5,887)

Jessica Pegula (5,183)

Elena Rybakina (4,350)

Madison Keys (4,335)

Jasmine Paolini (4,325)

Mirra Andreeva missed out on qualifying by six ranking points (4,319).

Coco Gauff was the winner of last year’s edition, defeating Zheng Qinwen in the final 3–6, 6–4, 7–6 (7–2). She would lose just one match in the group that she was placed in, losing to Barbora Krejčíková (7–5, 6–4), but defeated Iga Swiatek (6–3, 6–4) before beating Aryna Sabalenka 7–6 (7–4), 6–3 in the semi-finals.

Several of the eight are worth keeping an eye on because of the form that they have entering the tournament. Sabalenka, Swiatek, and Gauff’s reputations and quality speak for themselves. Anisimova reached back-to-back finals in the US Open and China Open.

Jessica Pegula has a recent final appearance (Wuhan Open), while Elena Rybakina won the Ningbo Open. Jasmine Paolini has a couple of recent semi-final appearances; she also performs well in the doubles and is scheduled to team with Sara Errani, so she may find it difficult to compete on both fronts.

Women’s 2025 WTA Finals Riyadh Betting Predictions

The Women’s 2025 WTA Finals Riyadh betting odds favour Sabalenka as the leading candidate to win the upcoming event. Indeed, we predict that she will have a solid tournament and be a legitimate contender for the title.

She does enter the tournament in mixed form; she won the US Open, but has had a few defeats in the semis or quarters of other events, including at the Wuhan Open.

If we want to look elsewhere, Gauff represents good value as an each-way bet. She is the defending champion and the recent winner of the Wuhan Open. She defeated Pegula comfortably and has looked solid on hard courts.
