WTA Finals Prediction and Odds

The season-ending championship of the WTA Tour, the world’s top eight female players will aim to win one of the biggest titles in tennis.

With one of the sport's biggest cheques on the line, it is also a good moment to see where these contenders sit among the richest tennis players.

This year’s edition of the tournament will head to Indian Wells, USA, which is usually reserved for the BNP Paribas Open every spring.

It had originally been scheduled to be played in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With the stars back on these hard courts, it is worth revisiting the Indian Wells betting preview for more on how the surface tends to play.

The event will begin on Sunday, November 8 (US) and conclude on Sunday, November 15 (US).

Quick Picks

Our pick: Rybakina to win

Value bet: Sabalenka each-way

Long shot: Muchova each-way

Betting Preview

The eight competing at Indian Wells are:

  • Elena Rybakina
  • Aryna Sabalenka
  • Mirra Andreeva
  • Coco Gauff
  • Jessica Pegula
  • Elina Svitolina
  • Karolina Muchova
  • Linda Noskova

Iga Swiatek finished number 9 in the rankings so misses out here, while the only players to have changed position in the top eight were Gauff and Pegula.

Rybakina enters the tournament having won the US Open and will finish the 2026 season as the number 1 player. However, she did withdraw from the Japan Open before her quarter-final match with what she called a “little injury”.

Andreeva is closing in on Sabalenka, who has had a tough time on court in China recently. The Russian was beaten in the final of the China Open, whereas the former number 1 was beaten in the Round of 32.

Sabalenka was also eliminated in the Round of 32 (first round) of the Wuhan Open against Ann Li in mid-October, saving nine match points before eventually crashing out.

After her semi-final exit to Rybakina at the US Open, Gauff has played very limited tennis. She competed at the China Open, but was eliminated in the Round of 16 by Elise Mertens in straight sets.

Betting Markets to Watch

Rybakina is likely to be the favourite in the latest tennis outright odds, as she has been exceptional on hard courts this season.

The defending champion has won both hard-court majors this season, beating Sabalenka in both the Australian Open and US Open finals.

She also arrives with a recent Ningbo title and the year-end Number 1 ranking secured. That combination of big-match results and current form gives her the strongest case for success here.

Amid Sabalenka's poor form, this could mean there’s value in backing her.

She did go back-to-back earlier in the season, winning at Indian Wells and Miami, highlighting just how accomplished she is on this surface when she’s at the top of her game. She also reached the finals of the hard-court majors this season.

Gauff is a former WTA Finals champion (2024), won in Cincinnati on this surface this year, and reached the US Open semi-finals.

She cannot be ruled out as a legitimate contender; however, she crumbled in this event as the defending champion, failing to get out of the Group Stage in 2025.

Our Prediction

Rybakina is our most likely winner, with value in Sabalenka to reach the final.

Karolina Muchova is a dark horse that is worthy of consideration as a potential long shot.

The Czech star won Doha and Bad Homburg and reached the Wimbledon final this season. She also has a lot of variety to her game and is capable of producing big when least expected.
