Rolex Paris Masters Prediction and Betting Odds

The world’s top male tennis players will take to the courts in the French capital, Paris, this coming week, at the ninth and final ATP Masters 1000 event of the season.
A lot is on offer to those who participate in the Rolex Paris Masters – approximately $10 million in prize money, as well as the final chance to clinch the remaining qualifying spots for the season-ending Nitto ATP Finals.
This year’s tournament will begin on Monday, November 2, and will finish Sunday, November 8, with games played on indoor hard courts.
Quick Picks
Our pick: Zverev to win
Value bet: Medvedev each-way
Long shot: Jódar each-way
Betting Preview
The tournament has already been hit with significant absences, including defending champion Jannik Sinner.
The Italian is struggling to shift a knee injury he picked up during Wimbledon and is unlikely to play again this season.
With the defending champion out, revisiting the Sinner vs Alcaraz head to head shows how the Spaniard shapes up against the man expected to challenge him again.
Joao Fonseca has also withdrawn from the competition, as he continues to struggle with injury. The young Brazilian hasn’t competed since winning in the Davis Cup last month, and has revealed he is focusing on his recovery ahead of the 2027 season.
Alexander Zverev, Carlos Alcaraz, Ben Shelton and Daniil Medvedev are all set to be involved, though, as is Novak Djokovic.
Zverev and Medvedev have each won the competition once, while Djokovic is a seven-time champion, having last won it in 2023.
World No.7 Felix Auger-Aliassime had to withdraw from Brussels and Basel, but could be ready for a return to action in Paris.
He would need a miracle to qualify for the ATP Finals, as he ranks 16th and would need everyone above him in the rankings to not pick up any points.
Many other top players withdrew from Basel due to injury, which could have an additional impact on who plays in France.
Betting Markets to Watch
Zverev and Alcaraz are the most likely to be viewed as favourites with Sinner out. German Zverev is the top seed, 2024 Paris champion and this year’s US Open winner, which suggests he has the capability to win this tournament again.
But Spaniard Alcaraz is the second seed, coming off the back winning the Japan Open in Tokyo in early October, and could capitalise if Zverev’s patchy form continues.
The major concern is that he most recently suffered a straight-sets defeat to Zizou Bergs in the round of 32 at the Shanghai Masters, which raises questions about his consistency heading into this tournament.
Medvedev can be an interesting value pick, as he secured titles in Hangzhou and Almaty, and reached the semi-finals in Beijing and Shanghai, giving him the most persuasive recent form case among the alternatives. He also won here in 2020.
However, he has only two wins against top-10 opponents this season, raising questions about whether he can finish the job against the leading contenders.
Our Prediction

Zverev is our most likely winner, with value in Medvedev to reach the final. With the field still settling after the late withdrawals, it is worth watching how the latest tennis outrights shift before locking anything in.
A long shot is Rafael Jódar.
The 20-year-old Spaniard has had a recent breakthrough with an appearance in the Shanghai final (lost to Alejandro Davidovich Fokina), but has shown the ability to cause problems for the top players when on his game, as shown against Medvedev in the semi-final in Shanghai.
