Women’s Singles 2025 Cincinnati Open Betting Predictions
06/08/2025|SB Staff|Tennis Tips & Predictions

The women’s 2025 Cincinnati Open will be an interesting watch for many, as it will feature the continued return of Venus Williams.

The former World No. 1 and seven-time Grand Slam singles champion played at the 2025 Washington Open in July after accepting a wild card. She managed to win her first-round game against Peyton Stearns in straight sets before losing in the second round (straight sets) to Magdalena Fręch. She has accepted a wild card invitation for this year’s Cincinnati Open.

Elsewhere, it’ll be a tournament that will see eight of the top ten in action, including Aryna Sabalenka and recent Wimbledon Ladies’ champion, Iga Swiatek.

Cincinnati Open 2025 Betting Preview

The 12-day tournament will commence on Wednesday, August 6, and continue through Thursday, August 7, at 00:30 a.m. (AEST) and 11 a.m. (01:00) for qualifiers. The main draw will begin on Friday, August 8 (01:00 AEST and 09:00 AEST).

Sabalenka will be aiming to defend her title after she won last year against Jessica Pegula, which would also end up being a replica of the final that was played in the following 2024 US Open. The Belarusian didn’t drop a set in Cincinnati on her way to her first title at the Masters.

Pegula had a solid event herself as it allowed her to put the building blocks in place, although her recent form has left question marks over her ability. She’s struggled to make it past the first round in many of her recent competitions, including at Wimbledon. She has won this tournament, though.

Swiatek may have won Wimbledon this year, but she has never reached the final of Cincinnati, the only one in the top four (Sabalenka, Pegula, and Coco Gauff). The Pole has edged closer in recent years, reaching the semi-finals in her last two appearances.

With the winner set to receive $752,275 (AU$1,163,314) and 1,000 WTA points, Gauff will compete again (despite only getting past the second round in her winning year). At the same time, Madison Keys is the only other former champion in the field, winning her only WTA 1000 event in Cincinnati in 2019.

Cincinnati Open 2025 Betting Predictions

The latest women’s singles 2025 Cincinnati Open betting odds will have the top players heading the list. Sabalenka will be among the leading favourites once the draw has been released.

If you’re looking for value, consider backing a player like Swiatek to finally end her troubles here, or even backing Pegula, who will likely have long odds due to her recent form. Given her history here and how she has performed in the past, she could be worth a long shot. Gauff may also be worth a shot. Remember, despite not coming into the tournament in great form, the 2025 French Open Champion is a winner here in the past.
