UEFA Champions League 2025/26: Monaco vs PSG Betting Predictions
17/02/2026|SB Staff|Soccer Tips & Predictions
Monaco and PSG presents an interesting all-French affair in this year's UCL Play-Offs, with results mixed between the two over the last handful of meetings.
Monaco will play hosts in the first leg of this encounter, with the game set to be played on Wednesday, February 18, at 07:00 AEDT. Of course, PSG are aiming to defend the title they won last year, after a disappointing League Phase.
Still, their route to the next stage is far from assured, as Sébastien Pocognoli's side have a decent record in recent years. Luis Enrique's group of superstars will have a lot to do.

Quick Picks
Our pick: PSG to win
Value bet: Demeble to score any time
Long shot: Correct Score PSG 2-0
Betting Preview
Let's examine the head-to-head record, as this is where we think some betting value can be obtained from.
Over the last 10 games, PSG have won five games. Monaco have three, with two draws added in for good measure. Over the last five, PSG have won three, with one draw and one Monaco win. The last meeting between these two teams came earlier in the Ligue 1 season, with Monaco winning 1-0, thanks to a Takumi Minamino goal. He's injured for this upcoming clash.
However, it was arguably just a blip for PSG, as it was one of the two defeats they've had all season in the league. Monaco have struggled, sitting in mid-table at this point. Still, their UCL form has been worth looking at…
In the League Phase, Monaco had four draws and two wins from their eight games (two defeats). PSG struggled to 10th, with four wins, two draws, and two losses.
Betting Markets to Watch
Scoring goals wasn't an issue for PSG, but keeping them out was. Enrique's side scored 21 goals, which ranked them joint-fourth alongside Real Madrid for the most (only Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona scored more). However, they conceded 11.
Monaco scored only eight goals (a goal per game on average) but conceded 14. For this reason, we think there are goals to be scored, but we don't think both teams will score. We think there's value in the following bets:
- PSG to win 2-0
- Under 2.5 goals
- No in BTTS
Ousmane Dembele may only have one goal so far in the UCL, but he has been in solid form recently. He netted twice against Marseille and scored a brace against Lille after netting once against Paris FC. In his last five games, he has seven goal involvements. He also netted twice in their 4-1 victory over Monaco last season. This makes him good value as an anytime goalscorer.
Our Prediction

We think PSG will be the likely winners in this encounter, despite losing their most recent meeting. They are defending UCL title holders and have been unbeatable since that defeat. If you're new to Champions League betting, this match offers a good opportunity to explore the market.
Our long shot is PSG to win 2-0, as this has only happened once in the last 10 matches (2021). Still, we think it offers value, as the two teams are likely to play a tense affair given the safety net of a second leg.
