<p>The most prestigious trophy in European football is up for grabs on Sunday morning (06:00 am AEST) when PSG and Inter Milan meet at Munich’s Allianz Arena.</p> <p><br /> Will PSG be crowned Champions League winners for the first time in their history? Or will Inter hoist the trophy for the first time in 15 years?</p> <h3>&nbsp;</h3> <h3><br /> The Road to the Final</h3> <p><br /> This was the first season to use the revamped Champions League format, with Inter taking to it with aplomb: winning six of their eight group stage games and conceding just a solitary goal.</p> <p><br /> As for PSG, things were more of a struggle. A sluggish start saw them struggling to even qualify for the knockout phase, before three wins in as many starts turned the tide.</p> <p><br /> Inter were equally impressive in the knockout rounds… although they had to do things the hard way, beating Bayern Munich and Barcelona in barnstorming two-legged contests.</p> <p><br /> A quirk of the draw saw PSG paired with three English Premier League opponents… and the Parisians downed them all, defeating Liverpool on penalties before seeing off Aston Villa (5-4) and Arsenal (3-1).</p> <h3>&nbsp;</h3> <h3><br /> UEFA Champions League Final Betting Odds</h3> <p><br /> There’s two sets of UEFA Champions League final betting odds to ponder.</p> <p><br /> The first is the 90-minute market, where PSG are the favourites ($2.20), Inter are the underdogs ($3.40) and the draw is available at $3.30.</p> <p><br /> Alternatively, there’s the ‘to lift the trophy’ market, in which PSG are priced at $1.59 and Inter at $2.31.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3><br /> UEFA Champions League Final: Best Betting Angles</h3> <p><br /> If you’ve read our other Champions League final articles published this week, you’ll know one betting angle that’s particularly attractive given the form of the teams – as well as a pair of value anytime goalscorer bets.</p> <p><br /> Otherwise, there’s a sense that Inter are being undervalued here.</p> <p><br /> This season alone, they’ve beaten Arsenal over 90 minutes and dumped both the champions of Spain and Germany out of the Champions League.</p> <p><br /> And, make no mistake, Simone Inzaghi wants to win this final. Inter had a Serie A title shootout with Napoli last Saturday, and yet their head coach still rested players with one eye on this clash.</p> <p><br /> Yes, the Italians have a couple of defensive absentees in Benjamin Pavard and Yann Bisseck, but they possess strength in depth and will have plenty of experience to call upon – don’t forget, many of these players featured in the 2023 Champions League final against Manchester City.</p> <p><br /> That was a chastening, losing experience… but big game experience nonetheless.&nbsp;</p> <p><br /> A number of these young PSG players are in uncharted territory in a Champions League final, and while you sense they will be up to the task, the odds suggest a gulf in class which, in truth, isn’t there.</p> <p><br /> We think the <strong>+0.5 Asian handicap about Inter</strong> is worth looking at.
