This will undoubtedly be the game of the Euros so far and it seems unjust that these two sides must face at this stage of the tournament.</p> <p>The way these two nations have performed so far at Euro 2024, this matchup would be much more befitting of the final, than the last eight, but here we are.</p> <p>This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object and whoever wins this, will likely go on to win the trophy.</p> <p>We know you came here for a prediction, but these sides are effectively impossible to separate, and the odds reflect this.</p> <p>The only thing we are certain of, is that both these sides will push one another all the way. <h2>Portugal vs France Prediction</h2> <p><em><strong>Saturday, July 6, 5:00am AEST – Volksparkstadion</strong></em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>It wasn’t pretty for either nation, but both France and Portugal have made it to the Quarterfinals at Euro 2024.</p> <p>Now due to the way the draw has played out, we will be saying goodbye to one of the pre-tournament favourites</p> <p>Each side’s talisman, Kylian Mbappe for France and Cristiano Ronaldo for Portugal have been way off the pace so far in Germany. Will one or both bounce back here?</p> <p>Mbappe hasn’t been the same since he put on the mask, and age seems to finally be catching up with CR7, after the super striker had a penalty saved in extra time against Slovenia.</p> <p>This could play out one of two ways, an absolute grind like each side’s last match, or an attacking free-for-all. <h2>England vs Switzerland Prediction</h2> <p><em><strong>Sunday, July 7, 2:00am AEST – Dusseldorf Arena</strong></em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Despite technically being undefeated, topping their group and making it to the Quarterfinals we are officially giving up on the English.</p> <p>There’s by the skin of your teeth and then there’s what England produced in the dying stages of their round of 16 clash against Slovakia.</p> <p>A Bellingham bicycle with the last kick of the game was enough to save them in the round of 16, but it’s a dangerous thing to rely on the spectacular to save you time and time again.</p> <p>As good as Jude Bellingham is, he can only bail out this side that is desperately lacking in anything that vaguely resembles chemistry, so many times.</p> <p>Against the Swiss, who will easily be the toughest competition they have encountered so far in Germany, this could very well be where the journey ends for the Three Lions.</p> <p><strong>Prediction: </strong>1-0 Switzerland.</p> <p><strong>Betting tip: </strong>Under total match goals.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Netherlands vs Turkiye Prediction</h2> <p><em><strong>Sunday, July 7, 5:00am AEST – Olympiastadion</strong></em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Let’s call this one the dark horse derby, as both these sides are the least fancied of the nations to make the quarterfinals.</p> <p>Despite their string of impressive performances so far at Euro 2024, Turkiye have still been installed as massive underdogs in the H2H market here.</p> <p>We’d argue that over the entire course of the tournament they have looked far more dangerous than the Dutch, who only really clicked into gear in their last game against Romania.</p> <p>Cody Gakpo is doing what he always does when he dons that Dutch drip, but there’s simply too much value to be had trekking along with the Turks.</p> <p><strong>Prediction: </strong>Turkiye 2-1.</p> <p><strong>Betting tip: </strong>SGM – Game to go to extra time and Cody Gakpo to score or assist.</p>
