Brazil vs Haiti Prediction

Brazil failed to get the job done in their opening game against Morocco, being forced to come from behind to draw 1-1. They simply didn’t bring the Samba and flair many had expected. Haiti, meanwhile, are seen as the ‘whiping boys’ of the group, but they put in a good account of themselves in their narrow defeat to Scotland.

To celebrate the momentous occasion that is the World Cup, Sportsbet is bringing back its exclusive Super Sub feature!

How does Super Sub work? Well, it’s very simple. Place a bet on select player markets throughout the Men’s World Cup and if that player is subbed off your bet rolls over to the new player that replaced them.

For example, if you’ve bet on Kylian Mbappe to score during one of France’s matches and during that match he fails to do so and is directly substituted for Jean-Philippe Mateta who ends up scoring instead, your original bet on Mbappe is paid as a winner!

Super Sub is not exclusive to goalscoring markets either, it also applies to anytime assist, player to win one or more fouls, shots on target and more, just make sure to read all the T&Cs before locking in your bet.

Quick Picks

Brazil vs Haiti prediction

As we’ve already seen at the 2026 tournament, a number of surprise results have already occurred, including Brazil’s draw with Morocco. However, we don’t think there will be a shock as big as Cape Verde’s draw with Spain in this encounter.

Carlo Ancelotti will be expecting a reaction from his team of superstars, as will almost everyone who watches and follows the global game. Haiti won’t be a pushover by any stretch, but they simply don’t have the quality to match the Selecao, and it’d be a huge surprise if they were able to hold out against the attacking stars that the South Americans can call upon.

Unsurprisingly, Brazil have been made heavy favourites to win this upcoming encounter, and as the Brazil vs Haiti betting odds page shows, we think this is likely.

Brazil has won each of its six previous matches in previous editions of this major tournament against CONCACAF teams outside of its own region.

Brazil vs Haiti score prediction

The biggest question punters will likely be asking will be about the scoreline and how many Brazil can put past Haiti.

If they produce a performance like the one they gave against Morocco, it may not be as many as some would have thought. However, if they turn up and play with the fire they need to ensure they get a win before a tough game against Scotland, we could be looking at a huge scoreline…

Given how this tournament has gone so far, there may be value in the 3-0 correct scoreline. Brazil may have won each of its last two major tournament matches against CONCACAF nations by 2-0, but could heal a little more misery on Haiti.

Haiti may have put in a strong defensive display during their losing effort against Scotland, but Scotland doesn’t have Bruno Guimaraes, Igor Thiago, Raphinha or Vinicius Junior in their line up.

If you like the idea of 3-0 being the correct score, there are other markets that offer value that fits with this theme.

Brazil to win to nil offers value as Brazil has won five of its six previous matches against CONCACAF teams outside of its own region to nil. By extension, there could be value in BTTS not hitting, as it has failed to do so in six of Brazil's seven previous Group Stage matches against CONCACAF nations.

‘The Under 3.5 Goals’ market offers a little bit of value because of the gulf in quality, but the Selecao aren’t firing on all cylinders just yet. If you feel it may be even tighter, the 'Under 2.5 Goals' market has hit in each of Brazil's last eight Group Stage matches outside of its own region.

Brazil vs Haiti team news and line-ups

Predicted Brazil line-up (4-4-2): Alisson, Danilo, Marquinhos, Gabriel, Alex Sandro, Luiz Henrique, Bruno Guimaraes, Fabinho, Raphinha, Matheus Cunha, Vinicius Junior.

Ancelotti is tipped to rotate after the Morocco draw, with fresh legs coming into the defence and midfield as Brazil chase their first win of the tournament.

Neymar is expected to miss out with a calf injury, while Casemiro is reportedly a doubt with likely rotated to the bench.

Predicted Haiti line-up (4-4-2): Johny Placide, Carlens Arcus, Ricardo Ade, Hannes Delcroix, Martin Experience, Josue Casimir, Danley Jean Jacques, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Ruben Providence, Wilson Isidor, Frantzdy Pierrot.

Migne's side will sit deep and look to threaten on the counter, much as they did against Scotland, with long-range efforts likely their main route to goal.

Frantzdy Pierrot is reportedly a doubt with may drop to the bench, while Duckens Nazon is expected to miss out.

Brazil vs Haiti head-to-head record

Brazil and Haiti have met 3 times, and the overall record favours Brazil, who lead 3 wins to 0 with 0 draws. Most of those Brazil wins came in friendlies.

The two have reportedly not crossed paths at the World Cup before, making the group-stage clash a significant first meeting in the tournament.

Player markets to watch

It could be a game in which Neymar Jr. makes his first appearance of the tournament. He’ll feel he’ll have a point to prove if he does, and could offer significant value in the ‘To Score or Assist’ market.

Including qualifiers, Neymar has scored or assisted in five of his last six appearances in this tournament. His skill and ability to open up the defence could be the ultimate difference in this game.

Vinicius Junior scored a wonder-goal against Morocco and offers value as an anytime goalscorer in this one, too. If he and Brazil are on their game, they may view this one as one in which they can find their range and record tallies that give them a chance in the race for the Golden Boot early on.
