New Zealand Warriors vs Manly Sea Eagles Prediction – Round 27 2026

Joel Caine|03/09/2026|

The New Zealand Warriors will be out to earn their second-ever minor premiership when hosting the Manly Sea Eagles at Go Media Stadium on Saturday evening.

Still ahead of Penrith by a point differential of just one, winning won't be the only goal for the Warriors, it will be winning big, especially given the Panthers are facing the struggling Tigers on Sunday.

New Zealand had an uncharacteristically poor match defensively but came away with a 46-32 win over Newcastle on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Manly saw their finals hopes come to an end last week despite a dominant 44-10 victory over the Dragons.

Coach Kieran Foran will take the same team into the final round. For the Wahs, Kurt Capewell and Wayde Egan are rested, while Chanel Harris-Tavita, Te Maire Martin and Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad all return.

Luke Laulilii is sidelined due to concussion, with Adam Pompey starting on the wing.

These sides split their two meetings last season, with the Warriors winning 36-16 in Round 2, before the Sea Eagles responded with a 27-26 victory in Round 27.

Warriors vs Sea Eagles Prediction and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

The Warriors are flying. More than flying in fact, they’re first! They've won each of their last five matches, including a 46-32 victory over the Knights last week that featured Jett Cleary's debut.

Sitting first on the ladder but a single point of points differential, New Zealand will want to seal the minor premiership and keep their run going in front of a passionate home crowd.

Manly's finals hopes are already over, so this is about spoiling the party. They can be dangerous when they click, but stopping a red-hot Warriors side in Auckland is a big ask.

The Go Media Stadium factor is significant. When the Warriors are winning and the crowd is behind them, they're a genuinely difficult team to beat, particularly when their first minor premiership in 24 years is on the line.

Betting tip: New Zealand Warriors

First Try Scorer Prediction

Man on fire Alofiana Khan-Pereira continues to do what he does best – score tires. Loads of them.

Not only has he scored in his last three games straight but  Alofiana Khan-Pereira has also scored two tries in three of his four previous appearances against Manly.

A strike rate like that only increases his chances of finding the first four pointer in this one, so we’ll be backing him accordingly.

Betting tip: Alofiana Khan-Pereira.

Over/Under Prediction

Each of Manly's last nine matches in New Zealand have gone over the total match points line.

Betting tip: Over 48.5 total match points

Line Prediction

The underdog has covered the line in each of Manly's last seven matches at Go Media Stadium.

Betting tip: Manly (+10.5) line
