After steadying the ship with back-to-back wins, the New Zealand Warriors have a top four spot within their grasp.

However, they do need to keep winning to stay in the double-chance places, starting with this showdown against the Parramatta Eels at Go Media Stadium on Friday night.

The Eels are coming off a stunning 30-10 victory over one of the in-form teams of the competition in the Roosters and will be out to play party poopers once again.

Meanwhile, the Warriors got the job done against the Titans last week, winning 32-18 to avenge their shock defeat in Round 21 and remain two points clear of the Broncos and Sharks in fifth and sixth, respectively.

An inferior for and against compared to those chasing teams has the Warriors in must-win territory if they are to finish with an aforementioned double chance. No changes for either side, who have both opted for the same 17s that yielded wins last week.

Check out our New Zealand Warriors vs Parramatta Eels match preview for plenty of betting tips and predictions across a host of markets. Written off at the start of the season, the kiwi club surged into title contention or a string of strong performances.

Then, when star man Luke Metcalf was ruled out for the season with an ACL injury, it was almost accepted as a well-known fact that the Warriors would eventually drop out of the top four.

Well, with two games to go the Wahs still sit proudly in fourth and seem hellbent on taking a run on the title, regardless of who is fit and available for selection.

If the Eels play like they did last week against the Roosters, they have the potential to play party poopers, but in New Zealand, we’re going to do the opposite of what most have done this year and back the Warriors in.

Betting tip: New Zealand Warriors.

First Tryscorer Prediction

Rocking Roger has flown a little under the radar this season, but with other stars sidelined, the time is now for him to lead from the front.

Tuivasa-Sheck has scored at least one try in each of his last four appearances against opponents that were ranked in the bottom four and we’re backing him to open the scoring here against the 14th placed Eels.

Betting tip: Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.

Line Prediction

The underdog has covered the line in each of Parramatta's last five matches.

Betting tip: Paramatta Eels (+3.5).

Warriors vs Eels Anytime Tryscorer Betting Tips

Josh Addo-Carr

Josh Addo-Carr has scored at least one try in each of his last six appearances against New Zealand.

Adam Pompey

Adam Pompey has scored at least one try in each of New Zealand's last four matches as a favourite.

Zac Lomax

Zac Lomax has scored at least one try in each of his last seven Friday appearances.

Dallin Watene-Zelezniak

Dallin Watene-Zelezniak has scored a try in each of his last three appearances against Parramatta.

Warriors vs Eels Teams

New Zealand Warriors Team List

1.
