Gold Coast Titans vs New Zealand Warriors Prediction – Round 22 2026
30/07/2026|Joel Caine|NRL Expert Predictions & TipsThe New Zealand Warriors will look to regain momentum when they visit the Gold Coast Titans at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday.
For the first time since Round 7, the Warriors will begin the round outside of the top two after falling 18-6 to the Bulldogs last Saturday, threatening their hopes of hosting a qualifying final for the first time since 2007.
Meanwhile, the Titans are finding some form under Josh Hannay, defeating the Dragons 38-18 on Sunday to secure back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
Despite scoring a double last week, Jaylan de Groot makes way for AJ Brimson in the centres, while Kurtis Morrin returns for the Titans.
Warriors’ fullback Taine Tuaupiki is out, so Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad starts in the No.1 jersey. New Zealand won 28-20 when these sides met earlier this season, can they run it back here?

Titans vs Warriors Prediction and Betting Tips
Head-to-Head Prediction
Saturday’s NRL Round 22 action kicks-off with the competition’s newest proponents of razzle dazzle footy, the Titans welcoming the Warriors to the Glitter Strip.
The Gold Coast arrive here with real momentum after dismantling the Dragons 38–18 last week. Their attack is clicking, largely thanks to the exploits of Jayden Campbell and confidence, and playing at home is never a bad thing.
Meanwhile, the Warriors were badly outplayed by the Bulldogs in a 6–18 defeat, a scoreline that raises serious questions about their attacking ability away from home.
However, still sitting third, we can’t just turn on New Zealand who have been excellent for most of the season.
Form is temporary and class is permanent as they say, so we’re giving them one more chance to show their quality before we jump off the bandwagon for good.
Betting tip: New Zealand Warriors.
First Try Scorer Prediction
Phillip Sami scored the Titan’s first try last week, and if not for a Tyrell Sloan meat pie three minutes earlier, he would have scored the first try of the entire match.
Well, we’re backing him to go one better here, particularly when you factor in that he has scored at least one try in four of his last five appearances in day matches at Cbus Super Stadium.
Betting tip: Phillip Sami.
Over/Under Prediction
Each of New Zealand's last six away matches have gone under the total match points line.
Betting tip: Under (49.5) total match points.
Line Prediction
The underdog has covered the line in each of Gold Coast's last five matches.
Betting tip: Titans (+4.5) line.
