Gold Coast Titans vs Wests Tigers Prediction – Round 27 2025
04/09/2025|Joel Caine|NRL Expert Predictions & Tips
If the Gold Coast Titans are to avoid the third wooden spoon in their young history, then they will need a Newcastle loss as well as a win over the Wests Tigers here.

The Titans had their hearts broken in a 36-30 thriller against the Dolphins last weekend, showcasing the league-worst defence that has them occupying bottom spot on the ladder.

These teams met under two months ago, in an encounter that saw the Tigers escape with a dramatic 21-20 victory.

Wests put up a spirited fight in their 24-10 loss to the Raiders last Saturday, but were ultimately beaten by the better side on the day.

With Jojo Fifita injured and Jaylan De Groot dropped, Keano Kini starts at fullback, Union convert Carter Gordon debuts, and Phillip Sami returns on Gold Coast’s left wing.

Jeral Skelton is injured for the Tigers and replaced by debutant Heamasi Makasini, while Alex Seyfarth returns in the only changes for Benji Marshall’s side.
