Gold Coast Titans vs Canberra Raiders Prediction – Round 7 2025

16/04/2025|Joel Caine|NRL Expert Predictions & Tips

The NRL’s Easter Sunday action gets underway with this clash between the Gold Coast Titans and the Canberra Raiders.

The Raiders current form is one thing (they enter this one on a hat-trick of wins) but how about their recent record on the Gold Coast? Turns out they like going to the Glitter Strip more than your average bucks party.

The Green Machine have won each of its last seven matches at Cbus Super Stadium. This has made us question, which side is really playing at home here?

Can the Titans reclaim their stadium? Or will the Raiders make it three wins on the spin for the first time this season and improve their recent Cbus record to eight out of eight?

Let’s take a look at how these two teams will line up, along with some betting tips for the H2H, first try scorer and over/under markets. This is our Titans vs Raiders prediction.

Titans vs Raiders Prediction and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

You nearly had us. Almost. One more win and we would have been firmly on the “the Titans are good this year” bandwagon.

The veil has been lifted by two losses and now we’re going cold on the coast of gold. To avoid three straight losses, Des Hasler’s men will have to see off the Raiders who have recorded impressive back-to-back wins.

They put a half century on cellar dwellers Parramatta in Darwin last week, with most of their tries coming courtesy of their forward pack.

After showing their irreverence for location last week, we like the Raiders on the road here. Look to them to complete two hat-tricks on Sunday afternoon. A trio of wins from them and a trio of losses for their opponents.

Betting tip: Canberra Raiders.

First Try Scorer Prediction

A number of Canberra players put their hand up for this market in last week’s 50-point massacre of Parramatta, but we like the look of centre Matt Timoko.

The 25-year-old is maturing into a classy and consistent cog in the Green Machine’s attacking arsenal.

He crossed for an impressive four-pointer last week and we’re tipping him to do so again here, but this time before anyone else does.

Betting tip: Matthew Timoko.

Over/Under Prediction

When the sun is shining, the points are flying between these two teams! Seven of the last eight day matches between Gold Coast and Canberra have gone over the total match points line.

We’re tipping it to become eight of the last nine in the sunshine when these two tangle on Easter Sunday.

Betting tip: Over total match points.
