Gold Coast Titans vs South Sydney Rabbitohs Prediction – Round 23 2025

The 16th-placed Gold Coast Titans will host the 17th-placed South Sydney Rabbitohs in an early ‘spoon bowl’ at Cbus Super Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Last week’s 60-14 loss to Brisbane was the rock bottom in what has been a challenging year for Souths.

Nine consecutive losses have them facing a wooden spoon, although with a bye to come, victory on Sunday would put the Rabbitohs in position to avoid that unwanted title.

South Sydney may take confidence from its nine-match winning streak over Gold Coast. The Titans felt hard done-by last weekend, with controversial antics from a Penrith trainer becoming the talking point in their heartbreaking 30-26 golden point loss.

There are two changes for the Titans with Phillip Sami (concussion) replaced by Alofiana Khan-Pereira, while Chris Randall returns with Tom Weaver dropped.

Ryan Gray, Lewis Dodd and Tyrone Munro drop out for Souths. Jamie Humphreys, Brandon Smith and Peter Mamouzelos join the 17, while Latrell Mitchell has a chance of returning via the reserves.
