Wests Tigers vs South Sydney Rabbitohs Prediction – Round 11 2025
15/05/2025|Joel Caine|NRL Expert Predictions & Tips
Redemption will be the order of the day for the Wests Tigers when they host the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Campbelltown Stadium on Sunday night.

The Tigers were annihilated by the Storm last weekend, conceding 11 tries on their way to a 64-0 defeat. While the shutout kicked Wests out of the top eight, their win-loss record now level, at five apiece.

Meanwhile, after a disappointing month of football where they lost four in a row, the Rabbitohs returned to winning ways through a come-from-behind victory over the Broncos, with Latrell Mitchell strapping on his cape and playing the hero.

Souths can jump Wests on the ladder with a win here, so we expect them to come out firing.

The Tigers are without the injured Fonua Pole, who is replaced in the starting side by Royce Hunt. Starford To’a is back in the centres while Jack Bird comes onto the bench for Tallyn Da Silva.

The big team news for the Bunnies is the inclusion of veteran winger Alex Johnston. Fletcher Myers is the man to make way.

It’s time to take a closer look at the last game of the round with some betting tips for the H2H, first try scorer and over/under markets. This is our Tigers vs Rabbitohs prediction.

Tigers vs Rabbitohs Prediction and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

The final game of NRL round 11 sees the Wests Tigers welcome the South Sydney Rabbitohs to Campbelltown Stadium on Sunday night.

Latrell Mitchell led the Bunnies to a stunning upset over the Broncos on his return from suspension, with a showing that included two try-saving tackles, a cheeky try, and a mind-blowing 50m field goal.

The only thing the Tigers were led to last week was the slaughter. They turned in a stinker for the ages at AAMI Park as Melbourne taught them a Rugby League lesson to the tune of 64 points.

Unsurprisingly, we will not be backing a side that shipped 64 in their last start, particularly when an in-form Trell Mit is on the loose.

Betting tip: South Sydney Rabbitohs.

First Try Scorer Prediction

Back from injury yet again this season for what feels like the millionth time. Age is clearly catching up with Alex Johnston, but when he does take the field, we can’t help but throw our support behind the second most prolific try scorer in the history of the game.

Unsurprisingly AJ has a stellar record against the Tigers (you’d be hard pressed to find a team in the NRL he hasn’t scored a bundle of tries against) and has scored at least one try in five of his last six appearances against Wests.

Betting tip: Alex Johnston.

Over/Under Prediction

The total match points line is set at 45.5 points here. The Tigers conceded 64 on their own last week. Need we say more?

Betting tip: Over total match points.
