Manly Sea Eagles vs New Zealand Warriors Prediction – Round 27 2025
03/09/2025|Joel Caine|NRL Expert Predictions & Tips
The Manly Sea Eagles would need a miracle to somehow clinch eighth spot and push their way into finals, but they can still play spoiler for the New Zealand Warriors when they meet on Friday evening.

A 26-22 loss to the Eels last week has put the Warriors' top four hopes in jeopardy, but they will take confidence from this season’s first meeting with the Sea Eagles, which they won 36-16 in Round 2.

Meanwhile, Manly’s 40-24 win over the Dragons counted for little when the Roosters stunned the Storm, putting on 40 unanswered points in the second half to all but cement their finals spot.

Tearaway centre Tolu Koula will miss with a knee injury, seeing Clayton Faulalo take his spot, while highly touted youngster Joey Walsh will debut off the bench for Manly.

Just one change for the Warriors with Samuel Healey to start at hooker for the injured Wayde Egan.

Sea Eagles vs Warriors Prediction and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

One of the teams that will be challenging the Broncos for that coveted final top four spot is the New Zealand Warriors.

The Wahs were inhabitants of the top four for most of the year, only for the wheels to fall off late, largely due to a series of unfortunate injuries.

Now they must beat Manly at Brookie, and hope other results go their way if they are to reclaim fourth.

They’re not the only ones who need results to go their way, Manly are still a mathematical chance of playing finals footy after their 40-24 victory over St George last week, but they need both the Dolphins and the Roosters to lose and to make up 80 points worth of differential to pull off one of the great smash and grabs.

While we are unsure all of those events will transpire, we do fancy Manly to keep up their end of the bargain and win here.
