The Manly Sea Eagles will welcome the Wests Tigers to Brookvale Oval for the first game of a Friday night double-header.

The Tigers enter this contest riding five straight losses, including the most recent three by a four-point margin. Despite the improvement, Benji Marshall’s men sit 14th on the ladder and face another finals-less season unless they can start converting those narrow losses into narrow wins.

Meanwhile, the Sea Eagles will be hoping last week’s bye provided the reset needed to avoid their third consecutive upset loss. In stunning scenes, Tom Trbojevic has been shifted to Manly’s centres with Lehi Hopoate coming in at fullback and Reuben Garrick out to the wing in place of Jason Saab.

Jazz Tevaga and Corey Waddell are promoted to start for the injured Lachlan Croker and Haumole Olakau’atu while Matt Lodge is in the 13 for the first time this season.

An injury to Wests’ Jahream Bula sees Heath Mason (fullback) and Jarome Luai (five-eighth) in different positions while Latu Fainu is the new halfback.

See all the team changes heading into this one below, as well as betting tips for the H2H, first try scorer, and over/under markets. This is our Manly vs Tigers prediction.

Sea Eagles vs Tigers Teams

Manly Sea Eagles Team List

1. Lehi Hopoate

2. Tommy Talau

3.
Sea Eagles vs Tigers Prediction and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

Last week’s bye couldn’t have come at a better time for the Sea Eagles. They were coming off two losses to arguably the two worst sides in the competition – Newcastle and the Gold Coast.

The Tigers, unsurprisingly, aren’t exactly crash hot either, but they were very competitive last week in their narrow loss to second-placed Canberra.

If they can pick up where they left off in the second half of that match, there’s no reason they can’t upset a Manly side who seem hellbent on entering freefall mode.

Betting tip: Wests Tigers.

First Try Scorer Prediction

We like the look of a familiar face coming back to haunt Manly here. One time Sea Eagle and current Tigers’ skipper Api Koroisau has a stellar record against his former employers.

He has scored a try in each of his last four appearances against Manly and we’re backing him to be the first to slide over in this one.

Betting tip: Apisai Koroisau.

Over/Under Prediction

Neither of these teams have been an exemplary example of outstanding defence this season and that fact that each of Manly's last six home matches against the Wests Tigers have gone over the total match points line means the overs really do have their name up in lights here.

Betting tip: Over total match points.

Sea Eagles vs Tigers Match Details

Date: Friday, June 27, 2025.

Kick-off: 6:00pm AEST.

Location: Brookvale Oval, Sydney.
