Canberra Raiders vs Gold Coast Titans Prediction – Round 11 2025

15/05/2025|Joel Caine|NRL Expert Predictions & Tips

After squandering a chance to draw level with Canterbury atop the NRL ladder, the Canberra Raiders will remain at GIO Stadium when they host the Gold Coast Titans on Sunday.

Canberra saw its 20-point second-half lead vanish in as many minutes, eventually falling 32-20 to concede their five-match winning streak. The Raiders have won 10 of the past 11 meetings between these sides, however, Gold Coast appeared to recapture some form last weekend.

In a mirroring result to the Raiders, Des Hasler’s men snapped their five-match losing streak, erasing a 20-0 deficit to overcome the Knights 24-20 away from home.

Gun English recruit Matty Nicholson suffered a long-term injury, seeing Zac Hosking cover him in Canberra’s back row while Corey Horsburgh (concussion) returns to the front row after a week out.

Kieran Foran has been named on the Titans’ bench for his first appearance of the season, while Jaimin Jolliffe returns from suspension.

Let’s take a look at the full teams lists for both sides as well as some betting tips for the H2H, first try scorer and over/under markets. This is our Raiders vs Titans prediction.

Raiders vs Titans Prediction and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

The Raiders red-hot run came to an end last week after they blew a 20-0 lead at home against the table-topping Bulldogs.

That was their first loss in five games, and it was against the top team in all the land. That means it’s far from alarm bells time for Ricky and his Raiders, and getting to play the 15th placed Titans at home should be just the tonic to return to winning ways in round 11.

The Titans were on the right side of a 20-point swing last week, coming back from the brink to ambush the Knights.

As spirited as that showing was, the Green Machine is an entirely different proposition to the struggling Novocastrians and we are giving the Titans little hope of finding another win down in the nation’s capital.

Just in case you needed another reason to side with Ricky Stuart’s men, Canberra has won 10 of its last 11 matches against Gold Coast. Yikes.

Betting tip: Canberra Raiders.

First Try Scorer Prediction

One of Canberra’s many try scoring heroes so far this season has been fullback turned winger Xavier Savage.

The 23-year-old speed demon was on the scoresheet last week and has scored a try in four of Canberra's last five matches as a home favourite.

Betting tip: Xavier Savage.

Over/Under Prediction

The Titans are not exactly known for their defensive grit and instead prefer to try and simply outscore their opponent.

When you take this ‘fight fire with fire’ and add it to the fact that each of Canberra's last four matches as a favourite have gone over the total match points line, the over becomes the more appealing of the two options available here.

Betting tip: Over total match points.
