NRLW Tips and Predictions – Round 7 2025

12/08/2025|Joel Caine|NRL Expert Predictions & Tips

The 2025 NRLW season continued to live up to its billing as one of the best in recent times, with last week providing another slew of sensational showdowns and results.

The Broncos won big, the Roosters stayed undefeated, and the Cowboys shocked the Eels at home. The Warriors, Knights and Sharks also all enjoyed the sweet spoils of victory, but the less said about the Tigers and the Raiders, the better.

With now just a month before finals footy, what does NRLW round 7 have in store for us? Let’s find out!

For all the latest news, analysis, odds, and betting tips ahead of this week’s action, check out our expert NRLW round 7 tips and predictions.

Cronulla Sharks Women vs Gold Coast Titans Women Prediction

Saturday, August 16, 12:45pm AEST – Shark Park

Fresh off a composed win in their local derby against the Dragons, Cronulla will look to run it back this week when the Titans come to town.

Georgia Ravics and Cassie Staples did the damage for the Sharkies last start, both crossing for doubles, so keep an eye on them in this one.

The Titans were no match for the undefeated Roosters last round, even at home, and their confidence will have taken a sizeable hit going down in front of their own. We fancy the Sharks by a few here.

Head-to-head prediction: Cronulla Sharks Women.

Betting tip: SGM – Georgia Ravics first try scorer & Cassie Staples anytime try scorer.

Brisbane Broncos Women vs Parramatta Eels Women Prediction

Saturday, August 16, 3:15pm AEST – Suncorp Stadium

The Broncos seem determined to push the Roosters all the way to the finish line in the race for the minor premiership in 2025.

They ensured the Raiders remained without a win this season, storming home last start in a crazy 72-point affair where defence seemed optional.

Now, in NRLW round 7 they’ll host a Parra side who will no doubt still be reeling from their shock loss to the Cowboys.

After a promising start to the season that held promises of a top four finish, the Eels have slid to seventh and we’re tipping that slide to continue away to the barnstorming Broncos.

Head-to-head prediction: Brisbane Broncos Women.

Betting tip: Hayley Maddick first try scorer.

New Zealand Warriors Women vs Canberra Raiders Women Prediction

Saturday, August 16, 5:15pm AEST – FMG Stadium

In their first season back in the NRLW, the Warriors are slowly putting together a very respectable campaign.

Up to sixth after a resounding romp over the Bulldogs, the Warriors will no doubt be dreaming of playing finals football.

Those dreams should take a step closer to becoming reality this week, when they welcome the winless Raiders across the ditch to FMG Stadium.

Head-to-head prediction: New Zealand Warriors Women.

Betting tip: Big win little win – Warriors 13+

Wests Tigers Women vs St George Illawarra Dragons Women Prediction

Sunday, August 17, 11:50am AEST – Allianz Stadium

It’s just not happening for the Tigers in 2025. They’re still looking for their first win of the season and we’re doubtful they’ll find it here.

Yes, the Dragons lost last week and only sit a single place above them on the ladder, but Wests just seem incapable of scoring enough points to win a game of footy at the moment.

At the top level that is a death sentence and unless they find their spark in attack, it could be a very long final month of the season for the girls from Concord.

Head-to-head prediction: St George Illawarra Dragons Women.

Betting tip: Under total match points.

Sydney Roosters Women vs Newcastle Knights Women Prediction

Sunday, August 17, 1:45pm AEST – Polytec Stadium

This is the big one. Without a shadow of a doubt the headline fixture of NRLW round 7, when the undefeated Roosters host the high-flying Knights, there should be serious fireworks.

Both teams won big last week, with Sheridan Gallagher and Evah McEwen doing most of the damage for the Knights.

For the Roosters, strike centre Jess Sergis seemingly can’t be stopped at the moment and as a result both her and her side will keep find their way into our bet slips.

As we say every week, until the Roosters give us a reason to bet against them, we won’t be deviating. Still, this is as tempted as we’ve been all season to go against the Tri-colours.

Head-to-head prediction: Sydney Roosters Women.

Betting tip: Jessica Sergis first try scorer.

North Queensland Cowboys Women vs Canterbury Bulldogs Women Prediction

Sunday, August 17, 6:15pm AEST – Queensland Country Bank Stadium

The final game of NRLW round 7 will give the Cowboys another chance to continue their impressive recent run, when they welcome the Bulldogs to Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

Up to fourth after their thrilling win over the Eels, the Cowboys are emerging as a genuine smokey in 2025.

After a bright start, the Bulldogs star has faded this season, with their latest misstep a 34-6 defeat to Warriors in front of their own fans.

Up in the tropics where the only thing hotter than the climate is the team they’ll be facing, we give them little to no hope of an upset here.

Head-to-head prediction: North Queensland Cowboys Women.

Betting tip: Big win little win – Cowboys 1-12.

NRLW Premiership Odds 2025
