The Brisbane Broncos Women (1st) and Sydney Roosters Women (2nd) are the teams to beat heading into NRLW Round 4, while the Cronulla Sharks Women and Parramatta Eels Women are still searching for their first wins of the season.

Three unbeaten streaks ended last week, as the Titans posted the biggest win in club history, and the Knights kept their first clean sheet of the season. 

Now the competition sharpens further, with several milestone appearances on the cards and a blockbuster clash between the top two sides on the ladder headlining what is sure to be an electric round of NRLW.

Canberra Raiders Women vs Cronulla Sharks Women Prediction

Saturday, July 25, 12:40pm AEST – GIO Stadium 

The Raiders enter this clash against the Sharks unchanged despite their narrow loss to the Roosters last week. 

Canberra led 14-4 and controlled large stretches, only to be undone late, largely by Zahara Temara's misfiring boot, which cost them on the scoreboard despite the two sides scoring four tries apiece.

Meanwhile, the Sharks are 0-3 and still without skipper Tiana Penitani Gray (quad injury). Cronulla produced a second-half fightback against the Bulldogs last week but couldn't prevent a 24-18 defeat. 

With no wins to draw confidence from and a settled home side in front of them, the Sharks face another tough ask on the road against the Raiders,

Canterbury Bulldogs Women vs St George Illawarra Dragons Women Prediction 

Saturday, July 25, 3:15pm AEST – Accor Stadium 

The Bulldogs claimed their first win of the season last week, defeating the Sharks 24-18 on the back of a Simina Lokotui hat-trick. 

Canterbury controlled long stretches and head into NRLW Round 4 unchanged, giving their squad another week together to build on that momentum.

The Dragons, by contrast, were flogged 38-0 by the Knights, becoming the first side this season to finish a game scoreless in the process. 

As a result, the backline has been reshuffled this week with Jayme Millard returning from a pectoral injury, which adds some outside-back depth, but the structural issues go deeper than simply just personnel.

North Queensland Cowboys Women vs Gold Coast Titans Women Prediction

Saturday, July 25, 5:15pm AEST – Queensland Country Bank Stadium 

Heading into NRLW Round 4, the Cowboys will introduce debutant Charlize Lloyd-Phillips on the wing, with Fran Goldthorp shifting to centre. 

It's a bold selection after three heavy losses, the worst of which was a 42-4 thumping from the Warriors last start. 

North Queensland completed poorly, gave up easy yardage, and were carved apart down the edges all afternoon.

On the flip side, the Titans are the form team of the competition. Their 50-12 demolition of Parramatta was the biggest win in club history, and they've now scored 114 points across their last two games. 

Georgia Grey misses with a fractured finger, but Eta Sikahele makes her debut off the bench to add fresh legs.

Home ground probably won’t be enough to save the Cowboys here, we like the free scoring Titans by a large margin.

Parramatta Eels Women vs New Zealand Warriors Women Prediction

The Eels are winless heading into NRLW Round 4, and that 50-12 loss to the Titans last week has raised serious questions about their defensive structure. 

They welcome Keilee Joseph back from injury for her club debut at lock, while Cassey Tohi-Hiku's suspension opens a spot in the starting side. There are moving parts, but the foundations need work first.

The Warriors bounced back from their Round 2 hiding with a 42-4 demolition of the Cowboys, with their left edge proving devastating. 

Payton Takimoana returns early from a shoulder injury, giving the Warriors added depth in the halves. Mele Hufanga and Gayle Broughton are also named in the reserves as they return from injury.

For us, the Warriors are the safer pick and should have enough to win comfortably even in Sydney.

Brisbane Broncos Women vs Newcastle Knights Women Prediction

The standout match of NRLW Round 4 is undoubtedly this one. The Broncos are unbeaten and sitting in first place after a 40-12 win over the Tigers last start.

Rhemy Hinckesman returns from a head knock, strengthening an already deep squad. Julia Robinson is set for her 50th NRLW appearance, a significant milestone for the Brisbane forward.

The Knights, sitting third, lost captain Yasmin Meakes to a ruptured ACL in a devastating blow last week and will be without her for the rest of the season. 

Kayla Romaniuk steps up as the new captain, while Jules Kirkpatrick earns a starting spot. Shanice Parker and Tayla Predebon both also reach their 50th NRLW appearances this week.

Brisbane's home advantage and attacking depth should be enough, but don't expect an easy night, the Knights' defence has conceded just 22 points across three rounds.

Wests Tigers Women vs Sydney Roosters Women Prediction

The Tigers go in unchanged into the final game of NRLW Round 4 despite their 40-12 loss to the Broncos last start. 

The scoreline flattered Brisbane as Wests still created enough in attack to avoid complete humiliation. 

Sarah Togatuki and Holli Wheeler both reach 50 NRLW appearances this week, providing some off-field celebration for a side that needs a win soon.

The Roosters are one of only two unbeaten teams left in the competition. They survived a scare in Canberra, trailing by 10 points before steadying late to win 22-18. 

Aliyah Nasio returns from suspension, and Amber Hall plays her first game of the season off the bench, these are both additions that deepen an already formidable squad. 

The milestones keep coming with superstar centre Jess Sergis also reaching 50 NRLW appearances.

Leichhardt should lift Wests early, but the Roosters have too much composure and too many weapons and should run over the top of the Tigers as this game progresses.
