The 10th and final round of the NRLW 2026 regular season has arrived, and there's plenty still on the line. 

While the Roosters have all but sewn up the minor premiership (unless they lose and there is over a 100-point swing between them and the Titans) with a perfect 9-0 record, the battle for finals positioning and pride still runs deep through the rest of the competition. 

Six matches across this Saturday and Sunday will decide who finishes where, with a few clubs still scrapping for their playoff lives.

NRLW Round 10 gives us a genuine mix of blockbusters and banana skins. The Wests Tigers host the Gold Coast Titans in what shapes as the match of the round, while the Warriors fight to keep their finals hopes alive against an injury-ravaged Cronulla side.

New Zealand Warriors Women vs Cronulla Sharks Women Prediction

Saturday, September 5, 12:45pm AEST – Go Media Stadium 

The Warriors currently sit seventh and are desperately clinging to their finals aspirations, However, they were dealt a cruel blow last week.

They lost 22-18 to the Dragons in Auckland after Tahlia O'Brien crossed in the dying minutes. To make matters worse, Ivana Lauitiiti is suspended for two matches, ruling her out of NRLW Round 10, while Annetta Nuuausala faces a possible Contrary Conduct sanction. Apii Nicholls (hand) is likely sidelined until finals, and Emmanita Paki (ankle) remains in doubt. Yikes. 

The good news for the Warriors? They face a Cronulla side deep in crisis. The Sharks are anchored at the bottom of the ladder and their casualty ward is overflowing. Quincy Dodd (broken arm), Georgia Hannaway (ankle), Rhiannon Byers (knee), and Jaydika Tafua (throat) are all out or in doubt, while Ellie Johnston is suspended. 

Even with their own injury and suspension headaches, the Warriors are comfortably the better-drilled side and against a depleted Sharks outfit fighting just to field a competitive team, we fancy them to get it done here and keep their finals hopes alive.

North Queensland Cowboys Women vs Sydney Roosters Women Prediction

Saturday, September 5, 3:15pm AEST – Queensland Country Bank Stadium

This is a tough draw for the ninth-placed Cowboys. They're coming off a 40-6 hammering by the Knights, and Tafao Asaua is suspended for this round. Now they must face the competition's runaway leaders.

The Roosters are 9-0 and firing on all cylinders. Tarryn Aiken has been sensational since returning, and in their win over Cronulla last week, Brydie Parker (celebrating her 50th game) and Jess Sergis both bagged doubles.

Isabelle Kelly has praised coach John Strange and their dominant forward pack featuring Millie Elliott, Otesa Pule, Keeley Nizza and Olivia Kernick, this week. Their only real concern only coming into Round 10 is Jayme Fressard (hand), who is set to miss out.

The Roosters haven’t lost all season, and we don’t see them starting now. The class gap here is significant, and the Cowboys are hurting on and off the field.

Newcastle Knights Women vs Canterbury Bulldogs Women Prediction

Saturday, September 5, 5:15pm AEST – McDonald Jones Stadium

The Knights delivered a statement last week to get their finals tilt back on track, dismantling the Cowboys 40-6. 

Mercedez Taulelei-Siala scored a hat-trick and Tenika Willison was a standout. Sitting sixth on 5-4, Newcastle need a result here to officially lock in their finals participations. 

The Bulldogs meanwhile, sit eighth on 3-6, and arrive in poor shape. They were beaten 44-14 by the Wests Tigers last round, and Tamika Jones is suspended for this match. Canterbury have struggled for consistency all season and now travel to face a confident, in-form home side.

Newcastle have the momentum, the home ground advantage and we’re backing them to confirm their place in this year’s finals series with a strong showing here.

St George Illawarra Dragons Women vs Brisbane Broncos Women Prediction

Sunday, September 6, 11:50am AEST – WIN Stadium

The Dragons pulled off a memorable win in Auckland last round, edging the Warriors 22-18 thanks to Tahlia O'Brien's last-minute try. 

Despite that win, they won’t be playing finals this year and their current injury list is a worry heading into Round 10. 

Shenae Ciesiolka (quad), Nita Maynard-Perrin (elbow) and Taliah Fuimaono (shoulder) are all in doubt for their final outing of 2026. 

Perennial powerhouses Brisbane look ominous again. They snapped a three-game losing streak with a 44-10 demolition of the Eels, boosted by the return of Ali Brigginshaw from suspension. 

Jada Ferguson scored in just 28 seconds (the fastest try in NRLW history) while Kerri Johnson bagged a hat-trick and Julia Robinson racked up 198 run metres. 

Brianna Clark is suspended for Round 10, but the Broncos still carry serious firepower.

With Brigginshaw back just in time for her swansong, keep an eye on the Broncos not just in this one, but in the overall race for this season’s premiership.

Wests Tigers Women vs Gold Coast Titans Women Prediction

Sunday, September 6, 1:45pm AEST – Campbelltown Sports Stadium

Here's the blockbuster fixture of NRLW Round 10. The third-placed Wests Tigers host the second-placed Titans, and both sides are flying. 

The Tigers sealed their first-ever NRLW finals berth with a 44-14 demolition of the Bulldogs. Their forward core of Christian Pio, Kezie Apps and Sarah Togatuki has been outstanding, Raecene McGregor is in stellar touch with boot and ball, and Salma Nour and Faythe Manera both scored doubles from dummy half and combined for 13 tackle breaks. Coach Craig Sandercock has them on a five-match winning run.

The Titans, though, are equally as hot. Eight straight wins have them sitting second, and Round 9 saw Georgia Hale bring up her 50th Titans game in a 26-20 win over the Raiders. 

Lauren Brown orchestrated a late first-half flurry, Teagan Levi was dominant, and Destiny Mino-Sinapati returned from injury. However, poster girl Jaime Chapman (calf) remains out, which is a big blow for the Gold Coast.

We’re actually going to take the Tigers at home here. Both teams are on generational runs, but Campbelltown's home crowd and the Titans loss of Chapman, give Wests the edge in this one.

Canberra Raiders Women vs Parramatta Eels Women Prediction

Sunday, September 6, 6:15pm AEST – GIO Stadium

The final match of NRLW Round 10 and the 2026 NRLW regular season sees the Canberra Raiders welcome the Parramatta Eels to town. 

The Raiders are enjoying their first-ever finals season, sitting fifth on 5-4. They pushed the Titans hard last week before ultimately falling 26-20, with Mackenzie Wiki producing a hat-trick that included a try after the siren. 

Elise Simpson (ankle) is a doubt, but Canberra will fancy their chances at home here. 

Parramatta, meanwhile, are limping to the finish line. They were beaten 44-10 by the Broncos last round, and their injury list bites hard. Jayde Herdegen (quad) and Lindsay Tui (syndesmosis) both remain sidelined. We aren’t holding out much hope for the second-last Eels here.
