Parramatta Eels vs Manly Sea Eagles Prediction – Round 18 2026

02/07/2026|Joel Caine|NRL Expert Predictions & Tips

The Manly Sea Eagles will be out to keep pace with the top four when they travel to CommBank Stadium to take on the Parramatta Eels on Sunday afternoon.

The Sea Eagles were dominant in a 30-4 victory over the Storm last Saturday and will now look to repeat their 33-18 win over the Eels from Round 8.

Parramatta, on the other hand, went down 32-12 to the Rabbitohs at home. Despite the poor showing, Jason Ryles has made just one change, with Jonah Pezet returning for his first outing since Round 5 to replace Mitchell Moses at halfback.

Manly lost veteran Luke Brooks to a season-ending ACL injury last week, with Joey Walsh taking over at five-eighth.

Tolutau Koula and Haumole Olakau'atu are both set to miss with Origin duty, while Clayton Faulalo and Reuben Garrick make their returns. Kobe Hetherington is back at prop alongside Corey Waddell in the back row.

For the latest news, odds and analysis ahead of this meeting of historical foes, check out our Eels vs Sea Eagles tips and predictions below.

Eels vs Sea Eagles Prediction and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

Manly will look to continue their push to rejoin the top four when they head to CommBank Stadium on Sunday to face the Parramatta Eels.

If they are to finish among the four best teams in the comp, they’ll have to do so without five-eighth Luke Brooks, who suffered a suspected ACL tear in their win over Melbourne last week.

It appears every silver lining has a cloud and losing Luke was a hefty price to pay for seeing off the Storm.

Still, under Foran, Manly have adopted a real “next man up” mentality and they all seem to be playing for one another.

With other key men Turbo and Fogarty avoiding the draft that is Origin selection, they’ll still have plenty of firepower on deck and should be able to knock off a 15th placed Parramatta missing main man Mitch Moses.

Betting tip: Manly Sea Eagles.

First Try Scorer Prediction

We’re backing that man again. Clayton Faulalo is loving life in Manly’s backline this season and we’re loving having him in our bet slip when it comes to try scoring markets.

The young flyer is on a serious hot streak and has scored a try in each of his last four appearances, he goes in as our first try scorer here.

Betting tip: Clayton Faulalo.

Over/Under Prediction

Each of Manly's last six matches as a favourite in Sydney have gone under the total match points line.

Betting tip: Under (50.5) total match points.

Line Prediction

Parramatta has covered the line in eight of their last nine matches as an underdog following a loss.

Betting tip: Eels (+8.5) line.
