Parramatta Eels vs Canberra Raiders Prediction - Round 15 2026

11/06/2026|Joel Caine|NRL Expert Predictions & Tips

Saturday night at Commbank Stadium serves up a crucial mid-to-low table contest as the Eels and Raiders both desperately search for consistency and wins.

Neither side has lived up to the pre-season expectations, and with the top eight picture beginning to take shape, this is exactly the kind of game that could define the direction of their 2026 campaigns.

The Eels were unlucky to lose the King’s Birthday clash against the Bulldogs, while continuing to operate without star halfback Mitch Moses, who was selected to play Game Two for New South Wales in State of Origin.

Canberra lose Ethan Strange and Hudson Young to Origin as well, and the Raiders will be looking to wipe the 26-0 loss to the Roosters last weekend from their memories.

For the latest news, odds and analysis ahead of the latest installment of this matchup, check out our Eels vs Raiders tips and predictions below.

Eels vs Raiders Prediction and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

Positive signs for the Eels despite their injury total, with the Eels only losing by a late penalty goal by Stephen Crichton in what was one of the strangest games to date.

Minimal changes for the side, showing signs of stability despite their inconsistent form.

More of a reshuffle has occurred with the Raiders, with Sebastian Kris returning from concussion, Daine Laurie will start at five-eighth in place of Strange and Vena Patuki-Case will make his debut coming off the bench to add intrigue.

Both sides carry wounded pride and an urgent need to respond well after their losses in Round 14.

If the Raiders can dominate in the middle, similar to what the Bulldogs did to the Eels, Canberra can showcase their attack with territory and ball, but let’s not underestimate an Eels side that showed they can play the grit and grind, even if the attacking and defending quality is not in their favour.

Betting tip: Canberra Raiders.

First Try Scorer Prediction

Canberra have scored the first try of the game against the Eels in three of their last five meetings, two of those coming in their last two meetings.

In the last five matches between these two sides, an outside back has scored first, and we expect the trend to continue.

The Eels' edge defence has shown some weakness in recent weeks, and Jed Stuart could benefit from good shape, allowing space and time for the winger to get over the line.

Betting tip: Jed Stuart.

Over/Under Prediction

Six of Canberra's last seven matches have gone under the total match points line.

Betting tip: Under (49.5) total match points

Line Prediction

Canberra has covered the line in each of its last four matches against Parramatta.

Betting tip: Raiders (-3.5) line
