Brisbane Broncos vs New Zealand Warriors Prediction – Round 24 2026

13/08/2026|Joel Caine|NRL Expert Predictions & Tips

The New Zealand Warriors will control their own top four destiny when they visit the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night.

The Warriors announced themselves as genuine premiership contenders with one of their best performances of the season, toppling the Panthers 28-12 in front of a raucous home crowd last Friday.

The Wahs remain in third, one win and a significant point differential clear of the fifth-placed Dolphins to begin Round 24.

Meanwhile, the Broncos slumped to their 14th loss of the season after surrendering a 24-0 lead in an eventual 40-32 defeat to the Dolphins last Saturday.

Aublix Tawha replaces Gehamat Shibasaki on the bench in Brisbane's only change. The Warriors’ starting 13 is unchanged as Morgan Gannon makes way for Demitric Vaimauga on the interchange.

New Zealand defeated Brisbane 42-12 during Magic Round at this venue earlier in the season. Can they do a Lang Park double over the Broncos here?

Broncos vs Warriors Prediction and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

Did the Broncos really win the premiership last season? Or was that just a fever dream bought on from heat stroke thanks to the Queensland sun?

You’d be forgiven for thinking it was, because this Broncos side are the further thing from defending premiers.

Their high-scoring loss to Queensland rivals the Dolphins last week was their 11th in their last 12 outings.

Not only do they now sit second last, but they also sit in the “do not tip” bucket., particularly against a third placed Warriors side who knocked off the Panthers last week.

Betting tip: New Zealand Warriors

First Try Scorer Prediction

Arguably the game’s best young try scorer, Alofiana Khan-Pereira has scored at least one try in each of his three previous away appearances against Brisbane.

On the end of a Warriors attack that is really clicking with the reinstatement of chief creator Luke Metcalf, AKP is in an excellent position to open the scoring at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday.

Betting tip: Alofiana Khan-Pereira.

Over/Under Prediction

Each of New Zealand's last seven away matches have gone under the total match points line.

Betting tip: Under (46.5) total match points

Line Prediction

The home team has covered the line in eight of the last nine matches between Brisbane and New Zealand.

Betting tip: Broncos (+7.5) line
