WWE Crown Jewel: Perth 2025 - Tips & Predictions
10/10/2025|Bloke in a Bar|Novelties Tips & Predictions

WWE is heading back down under for its next Premium Live Event, Crown Jewel.

After successfully staging the Elimination Chamber event at Optus Stadium last February, WWE returns to Perth for a bumper weekend of weekly shows, with the bonus of the Premium Live Event.

The event is headlined by the coronation of the 2025 men’s and women's Crown Jewel Champions, which will be decided in singles matches pitting the champions against champions in one-on-one matches to see who will be crowned as WWE’s ultimate champion.

It’s a celebration of Australia’s WWE Superstars, with two big stars, Rhea Ripley and Bronson Reed, booked in big matches. Reed, representing the vision, will go one-on-one with OTC1, Roman Reigns, in an Australian Street Fight, while Rhea Ripley will team with her frenemy, Iyo Sky, to battle The Kabuki Warriors.

Elsewhere, John Cena will take his final bow down under, as he goes one-on-one with the legendary AJ Styles.

As always, we’re on high alert for surprise returns, heel turns, and other shenanigans that occur in the weird and wonderful world of professional wrestling.

WWE Crown Jewel: Perth 2025 Predictions & Preview*

Steph Vaquer vs Tiffany Stratton - Singles Match WWE Women's Crown Jewel Championship

Two of the biggest breakout stars of 2025 going head-to-head to see who is the top woman on the WWE roster.

It was only a fortnight ago that Vaquer captured the WWE Women’s Title, putting an exclamation point on her meteoric rise. And now gets a chance to add a Crown Jewel title to her growing resume.

Stratton stole the show in the Women’s Chamber match last time she was down under and has risen to every challenge and occasion during her impressive run with the title.

While she has impressed and added impressive names to her list of vanquished opponents, Vaquer is red-hot right now and over with the fans.

Smackdown will still run on ‘Tiffy Time’, but Vaquer should continue her run and become the second Women’s Crown Jewel Champion.

John Cena vs AJ Styles - Singles Match

The fans asked for it, and they got it.

As John Cena’s Farewell Tour moves into its final throes, the man himself has been paying tribute to some of the finest he has shared the ring with in his final matches. But, when it became a chance for him to dance in the ring one last time with Styles - someone who else is in the final stages of his glittering career, it just had to happen, and thankfully for us fans down under, it is going to happen in our backyard.

This one doesn’t need a ton of build; the story writes itself.

Expect a collection of the greatest hits and two wily old veterans winding back the clock to put on one almighty show.

Betting tip: John Cena

Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky vs The Kabuki Warriors

There wouldn’t be an Australian show if Rhea Ripley weren’t on the card.

She won’t be closing the show like she did last year, but she’s here helping her friend and long-time rival, Iyo Sky, take on her former Damage CTRL teammates, Auska and Kairi Sane, in what has become one of the more high-profile women’s tag-team matches in recent memory.

Ripley and Sky have danced many times together over the top strap in the Women’s division, so it will be interesting to see how the two get along and coexist in a match against former WWE Women’s Tag-Team champions.

Despite the heels' previous success, it is unlikely WWE would book Ripley to lose in a rare appearance in her own country.

The babyfaces win here, with one of the biggest stars in the industry receiving a triumphant celebration in front of her family and friends.

Betting tip: Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky

Bronson Reed vs Roman Reigns - Australian Street Fight

OTC1 is back and is after his pound of flesh.

These two fought only months ago at Clash in Paris, which ended in a Reigns win in the book, but he was then beaten up and written off TV for some time as he was stretchered out of the arena.

Now, on Reed’s home turf, this is the chance for the Aussie big man to finally get one over the standard bearer.

Contested under Street Fight rules, which means anything goes, there’s almost certainly going to be shenanigans and involvement from both Bronn Breakker and the Usos to assist their fellow family/ stablemates.

The best thing here would be for Reigns and Reed to finish their feud, and then Reigns will move on to feuding with Bronn Breakker before he gets his crack at Rollins by the time Mania season rolls around.

Betting tip: Roman Reigns

Seth Rollins vs Cody Rhodes - Singles Match for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship

The title of QB1 is on the line.

These two have a storied history since Rhodes ' returned to WWE and have put on a trilogy of amazing matches.

But Rhodes has won all three of them, and ever since he reminded Rollins of that fact weeks ago, ‘The Visionary’ has undergone a mini confidence crisis.

To stack the pressure even more on the World Heavyweight Champion, a conversation with Paul Heyman last Monday, where ‘The Oracle’ said that he’ll lose respect of his underlings if he doesn’t get the win over Rhodes, has the potential to lead to something very exciting.

As much as we’d love to see that happen, ‘The Vision’ is still a relatively new stable, and it’s doubtful that WWE would want to pull the pin on it so quickly. Leading to a big Rollins win.

Betting tip: Seth Rollins
