<p>A wild week 18 leads us nicely into Wildcard Weekend. This is where teams with superior records (Philadelphia went 11-6) have to travel to teams with inferior records (Tampa went 9-8).</p>
<p>It’s strange, but that’s the world we live in and that’s why winning the division is the key to life in the NFL.</p>
<p>So, without further ado, here are my picks and betting tips for the NFL’s Wildcard Weekend.</p>

<h2>Cleveland Browns @ Houston Texans Prediction</h2>
<p><em><strong>Sunday, January 14 8:30am AEDT – NRG Stadium</strong></em></p>

<p>Cleveland went through numerous quarterbacks and somehow landed on Cool Joe Flacco.</p>
<p>Will his fairytale run continue or will rookie CJ Stroud and the upstart Texans - under a rookie head coach as well - get the W in downtown Houston?</p>
<p>At home, I’m happy to side with the young Texans and their QB who might just be an emerging superstar. That is of course unless Myles Garrett and that vaunted defence can get to him.</p>

<h2>Miami Dolphins @ Kansas City Chiefs Prediction</h2>

<p>This is a fascinating clash with two teams who were among the benchmarks of the competition all season long, only for the stretch run to go pear-shaped real quick.</p>
<p>Kansas City started 6-1 but went without consecutive wins until they met the Burrow-less Bengals and the Herbert-less Chargers.</p>
<p>Travis Kelce has also disappeared. Just five touchdowns for the season and only three games above 50 yards receiving since the beginning of November - it’s a worry!</p>
<p>Tagovailoa is a quarterback who is a beast on-script early in games and becomes mistake-riddled when things get messy. Mike McDaniel needs to keep him on point and get the Dolphins playing with a lead.</p>

<p>There’s next to no chance the Steelers can go to western New York and upend the rallying Bills.</p>
<p>TJ Watt is likely out and Mason Rudolph is not going blow for blow with Josh Allen. Beatdown in the snow inbound!</p>

<p>A Cowboys beatdown at Jerry World incoming. Green Bay have done a fantastic job in even being here a year removed from Aaron Rodgers.</p>
<p>However, Dallas feasts on these types of teams coming into their house and Dak, CeeDee and co will score early and score often.</p>
<p>Hopefully for Packer fans, Jordan Love will display playoff traits in the second half, but this bad boy will be over early.</p>

<h2>Los Angeles Rams @ Detroit Lions Prediction</h2>

<p>Remember when the Rams sold the farm to acquire Matthew Stafford from Detroit and sent Jared Goff’s career to die in Lions Land?</p>
<p>Well, a Lombardi later, Stafford and the Rams have to go to Ford Field and face Goff on his turf.</p>
<p>Surprisingly, it was a trade which benefitted both. LA went all in and got the ring and Detroit got its long-term QB.</p>
<p>Both teams won 10+ games, so it’s hard to think the Rams winning is a big upset but the Lions did so much right all season, so an early home playoff exit would be a hard pill to swallow.</p>
<p>Is there one last run in Stafford, Donald, Kupp and coach McVay? Let’s find out.</p>

<p>To achieve back-to-back Super Bowl appearances, the Eagles will need to go the long way.</p>
<p>A Lions and Dallas win sends the winner of this to San Francisco to cop a rested Niners squad - no fun.</p>
<p>So, the winner might need the W and some luck from an underdog to help them avoid a trip to the Bay Area.</p>
<p>Who do we like here? Do we like Philly who ended the season 1-5 or do we like Tampa, led by everyone’s least favourite quarterback - Baker Mayfield?</p>
<p>I think we’ll take the Eagles, but without a shred or ounce of confidence.</p>
