NFL Week 8 Prediction and Betting Odds

The Super Bowl picture is still no clearer, but could Week 8 provide us with some indication of what could happen in February?
The Houston Texans, New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers, and New Orleans Saints are all on a bye this week, with the Los Angeles Chargers, Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Washington Commanders all returning to action after a rest.
The Minnesota Vikings are currently the only team undefeated through the first seven weeks, while the Chargers are the only team without a win. With that in mind, it is worth keeping an eye on the Super Bowl betting odds as the contenders start to separate from the pack.
Quick Picks
Our pick: Broncos to beat Chiefs
Value bet: Jayden Daniels anytime TD
Long shot: Eagles to beat Commanders

Betting Markets to Watch
With half of the Week 8 games divisional rivalries, there could be plenty of value on offer this weekend.
There is underdog value in Minnesota to beat Detroit. The Vikings have won each of their last 11 games, and look an unstoppable force at the moment, despite struggling a little on offence.
That’s why there’s also value in the total points line being under, as eight of the Vikings' last nine games have gone under.
Denver has value to be an underdog winner against the Chiefs, especially as Kansas surprisingly struggled last week. The Broncos have won their last three, and 17 of their last 19 home games.
The point total being under the line has value, as each of the last seven games between the Chiefs and Broncos has been under.
Vegas are on a four-game slide, but they have value to beat the Jets, who have lost each of their last seven home games against AFC opponents who are on a skid.
Vegas have decided to stick with Kirk Cousins, who may be fired up as he needs to do everything to keep his job as the starting quarterback.
Jayden Daniels to score a touchdown anytime against the Eagles has value. The Washington QB had two against the Giants in another NFC East divisional game, while Philly have lost five straight, with their defence giving up 133 points in those games.
