NFL Preview – Week 9 Tips & Predictions

28/10/2025|Josh Jenkins|NFL Tips & Predictions

In week 8, we zeroed in on a Charger bounce back, and they delivered nicely against Minnesota.
Ladd McConkey delivered his yardage, and Jordan Addison managed the Vikings’ only TD, meaning we were in the cash.
On Sunday Night Football, Josh Jacobs was kept in check by Green Bay, but he found the end zone, and Jaylen Warren had 62 rushing yards - we only asked for 40.
It was a nice time of things last week; we need more in week nine…
For the latest NFL news, predictions, and betting tips, read on with my NFL Tips & Predictions for week nine below!

Baltimore Ravens vs Miami Dolphins

Friday, October 31st, 11:15 AM, AEDT, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami

The Ravens thought they were getting their MVP QB, Lamar Jackson, back last week, only for him to be ruled out 48 hours before kick-off.
They still found a way to win against Chicago, behind two scores from Derrick Henry, and now should get the electric playmaker back at quarterback.
Their opponents in prime time, Miami, found its second win of the season. No doubt, they were boosted by injuries to Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr and WR Drake London. Both Atlanta stars missed the game.
The Dolphins surely also take some confidence into this home contest against a side that also only two wins.
With LJ8 back under centre, the Ravens should begin to charge back up the AFC North standings, with losses to all three divisional rivals in week eight aiding their cause.

Betting tip: Ravens 24 - Dolphins 20

Best Bet: Mark Andrews (Baltimore) anytime TD

Seattle Seahawks vs Washington Commanders

Monday, November 3rd, 12:20 PM AEDT, Northwest Stadium, Maryland

I’ve been slow to the Seahawks party, but I’m beginning to buy right in.
I was unsure whether Sammy Darnold’s move to the Pacific Northwest would be a success - like it was in Minneapolis - or a struggle, like much of the early part of his career.
The former Viking QB is NFL #7 in QBR, ahead of stars like Stafford, Allen, and Mayfield - all guys spoken about in MVP conversations.
He faces a Washington defence on a short week after Monday Night Football in Kansas City. The defence has been mid-table across the board, and it will need to keep outstanding young wideout, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, curtailed.
Offensively, we know about the injury issues at QB, but this team has also suffered niggles to key playmakers in Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel. It’s hard to see this Commanders squad making a run like last season without health from both - and especially from its sophomore QB.
I like Seattle here - and maybe convincingly…

Betting tip: Seahawks 27 - Commanders 21

Best Bet: Sam Darnold 225+ yards & 2+ passing TD’s

Arizona Cardinals vs Dallas Cowboys

Tuesday, November 4th, 12:15 PM AEST, AT&T Stadium, Dallas

Arizona won its opening two games but has not won since, whilst Dallas has a clear weakness for all to see, but also has a weapon at its disposal.
The Cowboys were handled in Denver, but against the NFC, Dak Prescott has been immense this season. 314 passing yards per game across three games alongside eight passing touchdowns. He may replicate those splits here against the Cards.
The positive for Arizona in its five-game losing span before its bye was its competitiveness. All five losses were inside a touchdown.
No one has blown them out and off the bye; they should be well prepared, but Dak and Dallas often feast on this type of matchup.

Betting tip: Cowboys 30 - Cardinals 23

Best Bet: Dak Prescott 3+ passing TD

NFL 2025/26 Super Bowl LX Championship Odds:
