Another week in the NFL, another week of key injuries and statement wins across the league.

The Steelers flexed their defensive muscles, while the 49ers’ injury list continues to grow at a rapid rate.

The Steelers are quietly building something, while the Bengals are still searching for answers without their main man, Joe Burrow.

As we near the halfway point of the regular season, it’s looming as a crunch week for teams who desperately need to make a move or find a solution.

For the latest NFL news, predictions, and betting tips, read on with my NFL Tips & Predictions for week seven below!

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cincinnati Bengals

Friday, October 17th, 11:15 AM, AEST, Paycor Stadium, Cincinnati

This was supposed to be a Thursday night showdown between the Steelers' vaunted defence and Smoking Joe Burrow, who played as well as anyone last season.

Burrow went down in week two, and the Bengals have not won since. 40-year-old Joe Flacco to the rescue, and he did play OK last week despite being with the team for less than a week.

Aaron Rodgers is not making mistakes; he’s on the same page as behemoth receiver DK Metcalf, and the black and gold are 4-1.

These AFC North divisional clashes are almost always feisty and tight, and with Pittsburgh on the short week travel schedule, I’m expecting Cincinnati to fight hard.

Betting tip: Steelers 23 - Bengals 21

Best Bet: Bengals +5.5

Atlanta Falcons vs San Francisco 49ers

Monday, October 20th, 11:20 AM AEST, Levi’s Stadium, San Francisco

I like Atlanta’s core. The offensive talents are obvious, but the rest of the roster is beginning to show some signs, too.

In The Bay, injuries are keeping the handbrake on this franchise and preventing it from showing off its full potential this season.

All-World LB Fred Warner went down with a dislocated ankle last week, joining Nick Bosa on the sidelines. They also have a handful of offensive injuries, too.

Because of the injury issues, they’re ripe for Atlanta’s picking here, but are they yet good enough to do so?

Betting tip: Falcons 24 - 49ers 23

Best Bet: Falcons +3.5 & Bijan Robinson 80+ rushing yards

Houston Texans vs Seattle Seahawks

Tuesday, October 21st, 1:00 PM AEST, Lumen Field

This is a nice test for Houston off their bye.

Because before that weekend off, they went into Baltimore and dismantled the Lamar-less Ravens. That win looks far less impressive than it would’ve been on paper back in August.

The Seahawks jetted all the way down to Jacksonville and took care of the Jaguars in a solid display. The defence led the way, holding JAX to just 12 points and only 59 rush yards in total.

Second-year wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba is airborne playing alongside Sammy Darnold. 696 yards already on the season as he ranks Top 10 for catches and yards amongst receivers.

The Texans have a standout pass-catcher of their own in Nico Collins. His play helps CJ Stroud immensely.

Houston is 2-3, already three wins behind Indy, but with a game in hand. A win here would be enormous for their AFC South prospects. At 4-2, Seattle looked like a rock-solid squad, and that view is franked by them being the fourth-best team in the NFL for points differential (+49).

Betting tip: Seahawks 26 - Texans 21

Best Bet: Ken Walker III anytime TD

NFL 2025/26 Super Bowl LX Championship Odds:
