NFL Preview – Week 13 Tips & Predictions

26/11/2025|Josh Jenkins|NFL Tips & Predictions

Week 13 means business.

Losing games at this point of the season has dire consequences, especially games you’re expected to win.

We’re at the point in the season where we’re beginning to look at playoff brackets and potential outcomes, even though teams do have six games remaining.

Week 13 is extra special with a Thanksgiving triple treat. It’s always one of the better NFL days of the season.

For the latest NFL news, predictions, and betting tips, read on with my NFL Tips & Predictions for week 13 below!

Green Bay Packers vs Detroit Lions

Friday, November 28th, 05:00 AM, AEDT, Ford Field, Detroit

The Lions escaped the jaws of defeat last week, stunningly so.

Famous Jameis and the G Men almost blew up the NFC North title hopes of these Lions, but one Lion in particular was not copping it. Jahmyr Gibbs went nuclear with 219 rushing yards and 2 TD on just 15 runs, whilst he added a third TD in the receiving game on 11 catches.

The Packers did the job against another NFC North foe, the Minnesota Vikings, with a 23-6 victory.

It was a much more complete performance and one we’d expected to see more from Green Bay.

These two collided in week one, and the Pack announced themselves with a 27-13 win in Lambeau. Gibbs was held to 19 rush yards in that one. Keeping him contained might be the outcome-deciding moment in this one, too.

Betting tip: Lions 27 - Packers 24

Best Bet: Jahmyr Gibbs 70+ rush yards and anytime TD

Kansas City Chiefs vs Dallas Cowboys

Friday, November 28th, 08:30 PM AEDT, AT&T Stadium, Dallas

These two came back from seemingly nowhere last week to secure crucial wins.

KC needed 11 unanswered points in the final stanza to sneak into OT, where Harrison Butker made the game-winning field goal for victory.

Dallas’s resurgence was even more impressive. Down 21-0 at home against the rival Eagles, Dak Prescott threw for 354 yards and 2 TD and ran for another, whilst George Pickens continued to be a playmaker extraordinaire with 146 yards and a TD.

With added offensive weapons - Rice, Kelce, Hunt, Worthy – less defensive attention can be on Mahomes’ legs, and I expect him to be creative here, running the ball on his own.

American TV network CBS will be gunning for 40m+ viewers as The Swifties of Kansas City clash with America’s Team.

Betting tip: Chiefs 26 - Cowboys 23

Best Bet: Patrick Mahomes anytime TD

Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens

Friday, November 28th, 12:20 PM AEDT, M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore

A big NFC North game here with Cincinnati looking to play spoiler on the Ravens.

Baltimore has surged back from an awful beginning to the season and now looks in the box seat to claim divisional glory.

Ja’Marr Chase will return from that abhorrent spitting suspension and has had his way with the Ravens along the journey. His past two games have netted 457 yards and 5 TD on 21 catches.

There’s a growing view that Joe Burrow will be back for this one. Keep checking injury reports.

All in all, Lamar Jackson should have what it takes – especially at home – to do the job and move another win closer to AFC North victory and a home playoff game once again.

Betting tip: Ravens 30 - Bengals 27

Best Bet: Lamar Jackson 50+ rush yards

Denver Broncos vs Washington Commanders

Monday, December 1st, 12:20 PM AEDT, Northwest Stadium, Landover

Denver is built the correct way.

They give up the 2nd fewest sacks of all 32 teams, whilst creating the most sacks of all NFL defences. It’s a magnificent recipe and one that has seen them remain in many games despite the rest of the offence not performing as well.

Washington’s season has gone from bad to worse to all but dead in the water. The moment Jayden Daniels went down, and then went down again, we all knew the pulse was fairly well gone in D.C.

In a potentially gritty, cold, low-scoring game, I’d expect this Bronco D to take control.

Betting tip: Broncos 21 - Commander 14

Best Bet: -43.5 points

New York Giants vs New England Patriots

Tuesday, December 2nd, 12:15 PM AEDT, Gillette Stadium, Foxborough

Famous Jameis Winston almost did the unthinkable in Detroit last week. The problem is, the entire Giants franchise is rarely in sync, and the defence conceded a million yards to Jahmyr Gibbs on the ground, including a 69-yard overtime TD.

The Patriots were workmanlike in Cincinnati last week, but keep on winning. They’ve won a league-best nine straight games and should most certainly be winning this one, too.

They’re not quite household names or cornerstone players, but the Patriots' receiving core is diverse and potent. Stefon Diggs, Hunter Henry, Kayshon Boutte, DeMario Douglas, Austin Hooper and Mack Hollins. They also have a nice pair of running backs, too.

And it’s now crystal clear that Tennessee had no business sacking Mike Vrabel.

Betting tip: Patriots 24 - Giants 20

Best Bet: Kayshon Boutte anytime TD

NFL 2025/26 Super Bowl LX Championship Odds:
