We roll into week 11 of the NFL with our eyes on the prize.
Now is the time for the good teams to separate from the bad.
Looking back, I reckon we copped the dullest weekend of the season to date, which can only mean week 11 will be airborne.
Let’s dig in.
For the latest NFL news, predictions, and betting tips, read on with my NFL Tips & Predictions for week 11 below!
New England Patriots vs New York Jets
Friday, November 14th, 12:15 AM, AEDT, Gillette Stadium, Foxborough
My hand is in the air, and I am accepting that I was wrong.
I was not buying into the Patriot hype, but the hype was real and the performance is real, too.
Drake Maye and Mike Vrabel look like a magnificent pairing, whilst we’re now beginning to see the emergence of rookie Trey Henderson, who scored a pair of monster touchdowns last week.
Gang Green arrives off a win over Cleveland, too. Something we have only been able to say one other time this season.
Breece Hall was sensational, rushing for 83 yards and taking a screen pass 42 yards to the house for the game-clincher.
I’d be surprised to see anything other than a convincing New England win here.
Betting tip: Patriots 23 - Jets 14
Best Bet: TreVeyon Henderson 70+ rush yards & anytime TD
Philadelphia Eagles vs Detroit Lions
Monday, November 17th, 12:20 PM AEDT, Lincoln Field, Philadelphia
This should be one of the games of the season. And a playoff preview!
The Lions scored 44 in Washington last week and return to the northeast for a grudge match in Philly.
Dan Campbell, interestingly, took control of the offensive playcalling, despite the Lions being ranked inside the top five for scoring beforehand.
The results were very handsome indeed.
The Eagles keep doing the job, but are usually far from convincing. Perhaps they’re a team everyone looks at the wrong way around.
We often look at what they do plainly and forget what they do well. Their win in Green Bay was yet another perfect example of an imperfect team… who keep on winning.
Buckle up. We should have a blockbuster here.
Betting tip: Eagles 28 - Lions 27
Best Bet: SGM: Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley & Jahmyr Gibbs all anytime TD
Las Vegas Raiders vs Dallas Cowboys
Tuesday, November 18th, 12:15 PM AEDT, Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas
When the schedule dropped, this one looked subpar on paper.
Now that the actual game is here, it looks even worse.
Dallas arrives with only three wins from nine games, whilst Vegas has won only twice from nine. A collective 5-12-1 record.
Brock Bowers is worth paying to see, and we know Dallas’ offence can be electric when Dak, CeeDee, and Pickens get rolling.
Let’s hope all of that happens; otherwise, it’ll be grim viewing.
Betting tip: Cowboys 30 - Raiders 23
Best Bet: CeeDee Lamb 100+ yards
