The NFL season is edging closer to its start, with preseason set to enter its first week over the coming weekend.
American football fans and bettors managed to reacquire a taste for the sport last week when the Hall of Fame game took place. That game saw the Los Angeles Chargers beat the Detroit Lions 34-7.
It had been a long offseason, with Super Bowl LIX having been held back in February, when the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
