Spurs vs Knicks: NBA Finals Game 4 Prediction and Betting Tips

Spurs vs Knicks Prediction and Betting Tips

The road team has won all three games in these NBA Finals, a phenomenon seen only once before in league history.

Victor Wembanyama's scoring has escalated with each outing (26, 29, 32 points) and the Spurs head to Madison Square Garden with genuine belief they can level this series at 2-2.

  • Competition: 2026 NBA Finals, Game 4

  • Venue: Madison Square Garden, New York

  • Date: Thursday, June 11, 2026

  • Tip-off: 10:30 AM AEST (Thursday)

Spurs vs Knicks Form and Head to Head

San Antonio have defied expectations throughout this series.

The Spurs dropped Game 1 at home by 10 points (105-95) before losing a heartbreaker in Game 2 (105-104), then storming MSG in Game 3 with a 115-111 victory.

That Game 2 loss came down to a missed Wembanyama buzzer attempt, underlining just how fine the margins have been.

The Knicks won 13 consecutive playoff games, putting together the second-longest single-postseason streak in NBA history behind the 2017 Golden State Warriors' 15 games.

That run finally ended in Game 3. New York's half-court defence, which carried them through the Eastern Conference, was carved apart by the Wembanyama-Castle two-man game in the second half.

Brunson Battling, KAT's Fourth-Quarter Disappearing Act

Jalen Brunson has been visibly labouring with knee discomfort since Game 1. He has stayed in the lineup, but the explosiveness that defined his regular season has been noticeably absent.

OG Anunoby played heavy minutes in Game 3, finishing with 28 points on 9-of-13 shooting, so New York's wing depth remains intact for now.

The bigger worry for Mike Brown is Karl-Anthony Towns. KAT produced 50 points across the first three quarters of this series but has scored precisely zero in all three fourth quarters combined.

If the Knicks are to avoid a 2-2 deadlock, Towns must show up when it matters most.

For San Antonio, Stephon Castle's Game 3 breakout (23 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists) gave the Spurs a second scoring threat that New York simply could not account for.

The match result market is the obvious starting point, with the Spurs listed as underdogs despite winning the most recent game convincingly on the road.

The total points line sits at 216.5, which is worth a close look given two of three games in this series have finished comfortably under that number (200 and 209).

Game 3's 226-point shootout appears to be the outlier rather than the trend, particularly with both teams trending toward the Under during the regular season.

Spurs vs Knicks Prediction: Our Pick

San Antonio look well placed to level this series, and we fancy the Under to land alongside a Spurs result.

The road-team trend in this series is hard to ignore, and Wembanyama's trajectory has been frightening.

His efficiency has improved in every game, culminating in an 11-of-18 shooting night in Game 3 where 24 of his 32 points came in the paint or at the free-throw line.

That suggests he is finding ways to score that do not rely on his jump shot falling.

With Castle emerging as a genuine secondary creator and Brunson clearly hampered, the Spurs have the matchup advantages to get this done.

On the total, defensive intensity typically rises in closeout-pressure situations. The Knicks know a loss sends this back to San Antonio at 2-2, and that should translate to a slower, more deliberate pace.

Two of three games have stayed well under 216.5, and we expect this one to follow suit.
