The 2025 WNBA basketball season continues to roll on this week, with the regular season edging closer to its conclusion. Matches will continue until September, but August will give us a clearer picture of what the post-season will look like.

Most have already played a minimum of 27 games, with the regular season scheduled for each team to play a total of 44. There have been some surprise results within those, and bettors should expect to see a few more appear before we reach the conclusion of the campaign.

As of writing, the Minnesota Lynx continue to dominate the season’s leaderboard, holding a 24-5 record at this stage. The next best are the New York Liberty, although they are somewhat behind the overall leaders, as they have a record of 17-10. As of August 3, they are on a losing streak of four consecutive games, which makes things worrying for the 2024 WNBA Champions.

WNBA 2025 Fixtures Aug 7-10 Betting Preview

Several fixtures are set to take place over the coming weeks, with many quality encounters that will provide betting opportunities and possible value.

The Indiana Fever will be back in action, but questions continue to remain around Catilin Clark’s availability. She has been out with injuries for much of the season, which is perhaps why the franchise has struggled.

The Liberty will also be in action as Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu will want to pick up a win against one of the WNBA’s worst-performers in the Dallas Wings, despite rookie Paige Bueckers continuing to shine. She’ll have to do without DiJonai Carrington, as she was traded to the Minnesota Lynx.

She could make her first appearance for the franchise against the Washington Mystics as they continue to stake their claim for the 2025 WNBA championship.

Matches to be played over the coming week:

Atlanta Dream vs Chicago Sky - Friday 11:00 AEST

Connecticut Sun vs Los Angeles Sparks - Friday 13:00 AEST

Indiana Fever vs Phoenix Mercury - Friday 13:00 AEST

New York Liberty vs Dallas Wings - Saturday 10:30 AEST

Washington Mystics vs Minnesota Lynx - Saturday 10:30 AEST

Seattle Storm vs Las Vegas Aces - Saturday 13:00 AEST

Chicago Sky vs Indiana Fever - Sunday 11:00 AEST

Los Angeles Sparks vs Golden State Valkyries - Sunday 11:30 AEST

WNBA 2025 Betting Predictions

You can bet on upcoming games this week with the latest WNBA betting odds at Sportsbet. We’ve got you covered with many markets across all games.

The matches that involve the Indiana Fever are going to be of particular interest due to Clark’s continued absence. They’ve been in good form (as of writing) and look to be picking up pace without her. Bueckers could be worth a prop bet in the Liberty-Wings game, too, as she continues to star.

With DiJonai Carrington’s recent trade to the Lynx, she could be worth keeping an eye on when she makes her expected debut.
