Ladies Pro shapes as the one to beat in the Belmont Oaks, with a gutsy Guineas run and a jockey reunion setting up her staying tilt.

The filly showed serious grit last start, sitting deep throughout the Belmont Guineas before finding the line strongly over the final 100 metres. 

The step up to 2000 metres remains the query hanging over most of these fillies, but a rain-affected surface should suit her action. 

Adding to the appeal, William Pike jumps back aboard - a partnership tipped to help her settle early and see out the trip when it matters most.
