Betting Preview
The International is a modern, inland-links-style course just outside Amsterdam that puts a premium on strategy, accuracy and short-game quality rather than raw power.
It's relatively short by DP World Tour standards at just under 7,000 yards for a par 71, but the defence is in its undulating fairways, elevation changes of up to 14 metres, large, fast and heavily contoured greens, and the constant presence of water and sand.
Many fairways are framed by mounding that gives holes a semi-links feel and creates a sense of seclusion, but also tightens landing areas and can leave awkward stances, so players who drive it straight and can control their ball flight in the wind tend to fare better than pure bombers.
Water is in play on roughly half the holes, and there is plenty of greenside bunkering, meaning that approach play and up-and-down skills are critical; missing in the wrong spot quickly leads to big numbers.
Betting Markets to Watch
While there have only been a handful of names to have been confirmed for the event, it's worth recognising that you will want to target accurate tee-to-green players with strong mid-iron and short-game numbers, and be wary of guys who only gain via raw length off the tee. If you're new to the sport, our golf betting guide can help you get started.
Defending champion Connor Syme will be returning to the event and could be in contention, given that he has a profile built on steady tee-to-green gains and solid scrambling. His price could be inflated after a poor performance in Austria, meaning he may have value worth exploring.
Dutch favourites Darius van Driel and Mike Toorop could be worth a shot for longer value, while international players like Francesco Molinari and Danny Willett (both major winners), Bernd Wiesberger (former Ryder Cup player and multiple winner on the DP World Tour), as well as recent PGA winner (Nov 2025) Sami Välimäki, are all confirmed to play.
Our Prediction
Check the latest PGA betting odds at Sportsbet.
Our prediction is that Wiesberger will be the likely winner. He has been fairly consistent on the DP World Tour and holds a recent win at the China Open in April, as well as a strong performance in his home competition.
Long shot value will be in the Dutch contingent, with Joost Luiten the most likely to win. He is a two-time KLM Open champion and is the official tournament ambassador. Many like his profile for this course, and he could use that to his advantage once again. For more golf tips, check out our latest predictions.
