18/11/2025|SB Staff|Formula 1 Tips & Predictions

With just three races of the 2025 F1 season left to go, things are getting really tight at the top of the 2025 F1 Drivers’ Championship standings.

Lando Norris’ win in Sao Paulo at the Brazilian Grand Prix pushed the Brit clear, especially as Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri could only finish in third and fifth, respectively. Still, will the Brit hold on and claim his first championship?

Read our 2025 F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix betting predictions ahead of the spectacle that takes place on the roads of Sin City on Sunday, November 23, at 14:00 AEST!

F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2025: Betting Preview

A total of 50 laps will be contested, with each one consisting of 6.2 km (3.8 miles). Each driver must navigate 17 turns, including high-speed corners, technical sections, and chicanes, all of which test their skills.

The drivers’ championship remains wide open, with Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri (both McLaren) leading an intense title fight. A win in Vegas could be a critical swing in the championship momentum with just a couple of races to go. Max Verstappen, though not leading, remains a perennial contender after past success at this venue and could play spoiler in the title race.

Current leaderboard:

Lando Norris - 390

Oscar Piastri - 366

Max Verstappen - 341

Mercedes duo, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton (now with Ferrari), had a 1-2 in last year’s race, with Verstappen fifth behind the pair of Ferraris. McLaren’s Norris and Piastri finished sixth and seventh, respectively.

Norris has already admitted he expects his team to struggle with the track and cold-weather conditions, citing potential grip problems. However, McLaren have significantly improved since then, using Pirelli tyres that have a rubber compound that doesn’t grain as much as before. Still, he had the fastest lap last year, achieving a time of 1:34.876 in the final lap. Interestingly, Piastri had the fastest lap in 2023 for McLaren.

F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2025: Betting Predictions

When looking ahead to the upcoming race and the F1 Las Vegas GP betting odds, Norris’ concerns are echoed as he isn’t the favourite to win. Verstappen is, and we’re predicting the Red Bull Racing man to win.

The Dutchman has experience of winning here, having won the inaugural race two years ago. He is also in positive form, having won two of the last five races. Norris has won two in the same period, but his concerns are hard to shake off, especially as he crashed out in 2023.

McLaren is expected to finish well, having set the fastest lap in the last two editions of the race. Norris could be the pick to have the fastest lap once again for added betting value.
