Dutch Grand Prix
The summer break is over and it’s time for the second half of the Formula 1 season. We start at Zandvoort in the Netherlands with the Dutch Grand Prix.
This is a home race for Max Verstappen, who’s won all three races since its return to the calendar in 2021.
Max is no certainty this year, however, as his last win was five races ago in Spain. The rest of the pack appears to have caught up with Red Bull, as Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and Oscar Piastri all tasted victory before heading into the break.
There will be a lot of unknowns ahead of this race, so keep a close eye on practice and qualifying for any upgrades and trends. There’s also some rain in the forecast, so keep that in mind too as you assess the markets.
Dutch Grand Prix Betting Tips
Best Bet
Max Verstappen $2.75 (Outright Betting)
A home Grand Prix, a track he’s 3 for 3 on and the chance to start the second half of the season on a winning note. The price seems just too good to pass up.
Next Best
Lando Norris or Max Verstappen $2.75 (Overall Qualification Winner)
Lando has topped Qualifying in two of the last five races, while Verstappen has done it once. However, Max has captured pole position in all three Dutch Grand Prix he’s raced in.
Value Bet
Potentially stay with the pre-break trend of Max, McLaren and Mercedes and look at either of these Boxed Trifecta options. There are others as well under New Exotic markets.
Piastri Bet
Oscar Piastri $1.58 (Podium Finish)
As we’ve mentioned previously, Piastri’s on track success has made this bet much trickier. Even a Podium Finish, a distinct possibility but still a real challenge, is fairly short at $1.58. Still given his form heading into the break – three podiums in four races including a win in Hungary – this is probably your best option.
Ricciardo Bet
Daniel Ricciardo $1.57 (Points Finish)
This one has been tricky all year, with Ricciardo just too short in the Yes To be Classified market ($1.08) but only scoring points in three of 14 races. His best finish at Zandvoort was 11th in 2022.
Odds are subject to change.
