<p>After a weekend off, the Formula 1 circus heads to Italy for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.</p> <p>This is a race that has been dominated by Max Verstappen, but the reigning world champ is only the third favourite this year.</p> <p>That’s because McLaren has dominated 2025, winning five of the six races.</p> <p>The Imola circuit has been a good one for McLaren’s Lando Norris. Although he hasn’t won here, he’s been on the podium the last races, with a second and two thirds.</p> <p>The big story this year, however, is Norris’ teammate Oscar Piastri, who currently leads the Drivers championship and is aiming to win his fourth race in a row.</p> <p>A number of teams are expected to bring some upgrades this weekend – including Red Bull – so keep that in mind as you assess your potential wagers.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2>Emilia Romagna Grand Prix Betting Tips</h2> <h3>Best Bet</h3> <h3><strong>McLaren $1.28 (Team of Winning Driver)</strong></h3> <p>Yes, I know these are very short odds, but since a McLaren has won every race except one, it’s still worth putting into a multi. If things continue as they are, however, this bet will probably have to be put into <em>parc ferme.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3>Next Best</h3> <h3><strong>Lando Norris $2.35 (Outright Betting) or Oscar Piastri $2.35 (Outright Betting)</strong></h3> <p>Once again, Lando and Oscar are priced exactly the same to win the race, so it’s really a ‘pick your poison’ scenario. (Note: see the Piastri Bet below).</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3>Value Bet</h3> <h3><strong>Charles Leclerc $3.75 (Podium Finish)</strong></h3> <p>Still not sold on the Ferrari race pace but perhaps they’ll bring some upgrades that will help. Leclerc was on the podium here last year and while Max Verstappen ($1.66) and George Russell ($2.35) are the more likely podium chances, Leclerc provides more value.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3>Piastri Bet</h3> <h3><strong>Oscar Piastri $2.35 (Outright Betting) </strong></h3> <p>Piastri has won three races in a row and there’s no reason to think he can’t do it again.
