After nearly a month-long break, the Formula 1 teams are back in action this weekend in the Netherlands.

The big news of the past week has been Cadillac announcing Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez as their drivers for next year, but now the focus is back to the on-track action.

This current version of the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort was launched in 2021 after a 36-year absence.

Hometown hero Max Verstappen won the first three races with Lando Norris finishing first last year.

Oscar Piastri still leads the Drivers’ Standings by 9 points over Norris, his McLaren teammate. Verstappen is a further 97 points behind Piastri.

McLaren is running away with the Constructors’ title, currently sitting on 559 points which is more than double 2nd place Ferrari’s 260. Mercedes are 3rd on 236 points, with Red Bull in 4th on 194.

There is some rain predicted this weekend, which as we know can impact the race dramatically, so make sure to add Zandvoort to your weather app.

Dutch Grand Prix Betting Tips

Best Bet

Oscar Piastri $2.25 (Outright Betting)

Here we go again, the two McLarens battling it out for top spot on the podium and very little between them. Piastri has only raced here twice in Formula 1, finishing 4th last year and 9th in 2023. Although he’s only won 1 of the last 5 races, he’s still the points leader and to be honest, he’s due for a win.

Next Best

Lando Norris $2.55 (Outright Betting)

As always, these bets can be flip flopped depending on which driver you prefer. Heading into the break, Norris was on a roll, winning 3 of the last 4 races. He’s also the defending champion here at Zandvoort, finished 2nd in 2023 and was in the points in both 2022 and 2021.

Value Bet

Pierre Gasly $3.15 (Points Finish)

Ok we’re going to try this bet again after it missed in Hungary. Gasly has a decent record at Zandvoort, scoring points last year (9th) and earning a podium finish in 2023 by finishing third behind Verstappen and Fernando Alonso. With a possible wet weekend, let’s back Gasly to finish in the top 10.

Value+ Bet

Max Verstappen $9.50 (Outright Betting)

He hasn’t finished on the podium since Canada in June, but this is Verstappen’s home track and a place where he’s won 3 times. Obviously, he’s not driving the same Red Bull, but if there’s any significant rain, it could very well play into Max’s hands.
