It’s back – arguably the most exciting world football league, the English Premier League. And boy is it an attractive sports league for bettors, with some of the biggest clubs in world soccer coming colliding weekly.

The upcoming EPL season will be no different, as clubs around the league have worked hard to bring some of the game’s biggest talents into the league.

The race for the Golden Boot is always a good place when looking for players to keep an eye on.

Man City’s Erling Haaland and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah are always two top picks, with both continually fighting for the honour. Salah won it last year, netting 29 goals. It was the fourth of his career, tying Thierry Henry. He’ll have more creative help this season, with the arrival of Florian Wirtz and full-backs Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong.

Haaland missed a significant part of the season, but still finished third with 22. With Rayan Cherki and Rayan Ait-Nouri both arriving, he could have additional help despite Kevin De Bruyne’s departure.

Alexander Isak had a season to remember as he netted 23 goals to finish second, but could he be swapping Newcastle for Liverpool to join Egyptian Salah? Hugo Ekitike arrives at Anfield and could be worth a punt after 15 Bundesliga goals last season.

Chris Wood (20, Nottingham Forest), Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa (20 & 19 for Brentford, respectively) rounded the top five. Mbuemo has already moved to Manchester United (with Matheus Cunha) and could be joined by Benjamin Sesko. Meanwhile, Wissa could be on his way to replace/join Isak at Newcastle.

Arsenal have added firepower in the shape of Viktor Gyökeres, after his 39 goals in the Liga Portugal for Sporting. He’ll be a top player to watch in the goalscoring market.

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer will be worth watching closely, as the Blues’ attack will go through him. However, with Joao Pedro, Estevao and Liam Delap all arriving, these three could also be worth watching in the goalscoring betting throughout the campaign.

Premier League 2025/26 Players To Watch Betting Predictions

With 271 players scoring at least one goal last season, there are many potential betting options available at Sportsbet this season.

The odds for ‘Haaland to score 35+ league goals’ could be worth backing as he has shown he can do it when fit. He has only achieved this once, but with more help, he may achieve it again.

Bournemouth’s Evanilson is another to like after a strong debut campaign. He missed a number of games, but still managed to score 10. If he can stay injury-free, the ‘Evanilson to score 15+ league goals’ market offers value.

‘Delap to score 15+ league goals’ is another good value bet, after he netted 12 in a struggling Ipswich side.
