In a series of three games, India took a 1-0 lead in the first of the ODIs to have been played. The hosts were victors in that game, winning by 17 runs.
However, the damage had been done early on, as Virat Kohli continued to prove to everyone just why his name is continually mentioned among some of the greatest players ever to play cricket. He had scored 135 runs from 120 balls, hitting 11 fours and seven sixes.
Will he have the same impact in the 2nd ODI when it is played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, in New Raipur on Wednesday, December 3? The first ball is scheduled to be bowled at 19:00 AEDT.

India vs South Africa 2nd ODI Cricket Betting Predictions
The India vs South Africa 2nd ODI betting odds have India as favourites to win.
We think there’s value in backing Virat Kohli and Quinton de Kock to be the leading run scorers for their respective nations. Kohli should follow on from this 135, but we expect to see De Kock make amends and lead the run-scoring for SA.
We are also predicting Kuldeep Yadav will be the leading wicket-taker, as he was exceptional in the last game. He has 31 wickets against South Africa in 14 matches at an average of 16.58, and no other player in India’s history has a better average against them.
