Tyson Fury returns to the UK boxing ring

Tyson Fury steps back into a British ring for the first time in more than three years on April 11.

When he faces knockout specialist Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a heavyweight bout streaming live globally on Netflix.

The 65,000-capacity North London venue hosts Netflix's first-ever live boxing event staged in the United Kingdom.

With the main card available at no additional cost to the platform's 300-plus million subscribers worldwide.

Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) last fought on British soil in December 2022, stopping Derek Chisora by TKO.

Makhmudov: The Knockout Machine Fury Must Solve

Arslanbek Makhmudov is 36 years old, Russian-born, and stands 6'6" - a legitimate heavyweight built around raw power.

Of his 19 professional stoppages, 13 came in the opening round, and he arrives at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium having beaten Briton David Allen over 12 rounds in October 2025.

Claiming the WBA Inter-Continental heavyweight title in the process.

Earlier losses to Agit Kabayel and Guido Vianello raised questions about his ability to handle elite opposition, which makes this examination against a former unified champion all the more significant.

Fury, who has been direct about his motivations for returning, said: "I came back to make boxing great again. Boxing reaches peak potential when I actively fight."

A win over Makhmudov - ranked among the WBO and IBF's top contenders - would position the Gypsy King for a credible push back toward the heavyweight title picture.

The event is promoted by The Ring and Queensberry, with the main card scheduled to begin at 7pm BST.

Ring walks for the main event are expected around 10pm BST - that is 4am AEST on April 12 for Australian viewers, with the heavyweight main event likely to start around 7am AEST.

A Stacked Card: Benn, Prograis and an Australian on the Undercard

The co-main event carries considerable weight of its own.

Conor Benn (24-1, 14 KOs) - who has previously fought at this same venue - takes on former two-division world champion Regis Prograis (30-3, 24 KOs) in a super welterweight clash.

Benn declared "April 11 can't come soon enough. I fear no one. I'm fully locked in,"

While Prograis fired back: "He's not fighting some weight-drained super middleweight. I will bring home this victory."

Cruiserweight Richard Riakporhe faces Jeamie Tshikeva, and in a fight with direct Australian interest, heavyweight Frazer Clarke meets unbeaten Brisbane contender Justis Huni.

Giving Australian boxing fans a stake in the card well before the main event ring walks.

Preliminary bouts will stream across The Ring Magazine's YouTube channel and Netflix's Tudum platform, with the main card exclusive to Netflix.

The service confirmed access is included across all subscription tiers at no extra charge.

Fury vs Makhmudov takes place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, April 11, with the heavyweight main event expected around 10pm BST - 7am AEST on Sunday, April 12."
