Indigenous Round carries on into AFLW round 10, as the women’s game continues their celebration of the unforgettable moments and contributions of past and present Indigenous players.

AFLW round 10 also marks the final week of the AFLW regular season. That means 16 teams will be cut to just eight as of next week as the final’s series begins.

The top eight is all but set with just one place still up for grabs. A spot that will be filled by either Essendon, Melbourne or Geelong.

The minor premiership appears sewn up by North Melbourne unless a string of unlikely and high-scoring results transpire this weekend.

It’s the top four and the all too valuable second life that comes with it, where the real drama lies.

Both Freo and the Crows sit on seven wins apiece, with round 10 set to decide who takes the final place in the AFLW top four.

Who will it be? Let’s find out! For the latest analysis, odds, news and more, check out our expert AFLW round 10 tips and predictions below.

Geelong vs Adelaide Crows Prediction

Friday, November 1, 7:15pm AEDT – GMHBA Stadium

AFLW round 10 opens up with a crunch fixture for the Adelaide Crows as they travel to GMHBA Stadium to battle the Cats.

They can secure a top four place here with a win, which will give them the huge advantage of a second chance during the finals.

The Cats have been purring recently, with a couple of impressive wins over Brisbane and most recently the West Coast Eagles.

These wins have kept them in contention for the finals, just, but they’ll need to win here and have results go their way.

That being said, we expect the Crows to sneak home here and sew up fourth, condemning the Cats to their Mad Monday celebrations along with the seven other teams set to say goodbye to season 2024.

Prediction: Adelaide Crows.

Betting tip: Caitlin Gould 2+ goals.

Melbourne vs Collingwood Prediction

Saturday, November 2, 1:05pm AEDT – IKON Park

Another massive game kickstarts Saturday’s action in the AFWL. Melbourne sit precariously in ninth heading into AFLW round 10 and need to win here to have any hope of playing finals footy.

Playing the Pies who seem resigned to the wooden spoon, they’ll want to load up on goals to improve their percentage, should results transpire that bring it into play.

We think they’ll do just that, giving themselves the best possible chance of playing finals foot, should Essendon slip up in their match.

Prediction: Melbourne.

Betting tip: Big win, little win – Melbourne 1-39.

Sydney Swans vs West Coast Eagles Prediction

Saturday, November 2, 3:05pm AEDT – Henson Park

We won’t be going anywhere near the Swans after their shellacking at the hands of the Lions last week.

That’s six losses straight for the Sydneysiders, so we’ll be taking The Eagles in this round 10 dead rubber.

Prediction: West Coast Eagles.

Betting tip: Under total match points.

North Melbourne vs Gold Coast Suns Prediction

Saturday, November 2, 5:05pm AEDT – Arden Street Oval

Can they do it? Can North Melbourne go the entire regular season without losing a single game?

Against the 17th placed Suns who have won just once in 2024? We think there is certainly a fair chance.

A win here will also lock up the minor premiership and we’re expecting it to be party time in North Full when the full-time siren sounds in this one.

Prediction: North Melbourne.

Betting tip: SGM – Over total match points & North Melbourne 40+

Carlton vs Essendon Prediction

Saturday, November 2, 7:15pm AEDT – IKON Park

The equation is simply for Essendon – win and they play finals. Lose and well, their fate is out of their hands.

Against a Carlton side whose race has long been run in 2024 and who only snuck past spooners in wait Collingwood, this is set up nicely for Essendon to secure their spot in the finals.

Prediction: Essendon.

Betting tip: Bonnie Toogood anytime goal.

St Kilda vs Brisbane Lions Prediction

Sunday, November 3, 1:05pm AEDT – RSEA Park

A late season slump resulting in three consecutive losses has cost St Kilda any hope of qualifying for the finals heading into AFLW round 10.

Even if they were still in it, toppling the top four bound Lions would be a tall order. One made all that much taller this week by having nothing but pride to play for.

Prediction: Brisbane Lions.

Betting tip: Big win, little win – Lions 40+

Richmond vs Hawthorn Prediction

Sunday, November 3, 3:05pm AEDT – Swinburne Centre

Hokball is alive and well it seems, with the Hawthorn ladies soaring in second as we enter AFLW round 10.

Richmond aren’t doing too badly themselves and will be playing finals footy regardless of what transpires here.

This could be the game of the round, but seeing as the Hawks have just lost once all season, we have to side with them.

Prediction: Hawthorn.

Betting tip: SGM – Katie Brennan & Bridie Hipwell anytime goal.

Port Adelaide vs GWS Giants Prediction

Sunday, November 3, 5:05pm AEDT – Alberton Oval

Technically Port can still be usurped from their finals place, but some crazy results will need to transpire.

Their vastly superior percentage should secure their passage regardless of what goes down in round 10.

However, playing against a GWS side this week, who have only won once in 2024, we suspect they won’t have to lean on their percentage at all.

Prediction: Port Adelaide.

Betting tip: Over total match points.

Fremantle vs Western Bulldogs Prediction

Sunday, November 3, 7:05pm AEDT – Fremantle Oval

The final game of AFLW round 10 and the entire regular season is a big one. Well, a big one for Fremantle at least.

They can still make the top four and secure that all important second chance that comes with it.

The Dogs have just pride and party pooping potential to play for. Will that be enough to see them end their season with a road win? We don’t think so.

Prediction: Fremantle.

Betting tip: Freo 1-12.
