Speedy galloper in great form and this is his favourite trip. Take catching. GRAN CANARIA (2) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on February 14, finishing sixth and beaten 4.5 lengths over 1400m at Durbanville. Under the care of new trainer Weiho Marwing this prep. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Leading contender. FRERE JACQUES (3) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his last appearance at Vaal over 1600m on November 23. Has to be respected. CLARKSON (4) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1450m at this track, beaten 10 lengths. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
