GRANGER BAY (8) makes first appearance since 2024. Proved consistent with one win and three placed efforts in five starts though did disappoint when last of nine in a Newmarket (Rowley) handicap. Interesting resuming from a break. COUL ANGEL (5) bids for a hat-trick following a 1.25L victory over course and distance then followed gaining a narrow neck success here also. Worth considering receiving a lenient weight rise. HEATHCLIFF (9) lost out narrowly by a neck to the second pick on most recent appearance tackling track and trip. May reverse placings. BERKSHIRE WHISPER (3) cannot be discounted after a last-start second at Southwell AW.
